I fear for our future. Wall and Oladipo bricking up open 3pt shots. I fear Wall will slow it and won't pass the ball all that much. House is just terrible. Wood has good offense but his defense sucks. Allen is solid enough. Tilman is to blame for all of this. He killed our team after we lost to the Warriors in 2018.
If the rockets could have gotten a 20 million expiring from anyone then name that player(s) besides dipo who we already knew was unhappy in Indy Being an expiring doesn't mean going after this upcoming class. nowhere does that say is a must. The point is it's off your books period.
This trade is made because the situation is becoming so toxic that even the coach asked Harden to stay the eff away from the team. Tilman absolutely has the choice to take on Levert but instead he choose a bigger expiring contract of a broken down player because he afraid to even make a wrong choice to Levert for a max contact. 3 late round and a mid rounder are all you get except the unknow and no name rookie which any team will be willing to give up in a trade like this. So basically this is a trade for cap dump and tanking move because of the direct actions of Harden, if you want to call it a great trade, you absolutely has your own right, such as Ted Cruz did.
Blah blah blah blah where's the article saying this isn't a great trade for Houston? That's all I asked not for you to talk about irrelevant crap or your opinion which I don't really care. You are the one here with no sources spouting BS if you wanna talk who is like Ted Cruz it's you. Here's multiple sauces saying Houston got a great haul for James Harden: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nb...ve-james-harden-blockbuster-trade/ar-BB1cJfX0 https://www.thebiglead.com/posts/wi...trade-nets-irving-durant-rockets-01evyt18b0t0 I'm not subscribed to ESPN but they prob gave Rox a passing grade as well.
If you want to be charitable they are clearing expiring contracts to sign a Max free agent or planning on extending Oladipo..
Not sure how you think we'll be a player in free agency so long as John Wall's contract belongs to this team.. Hell, John Wall, Eric Gordon and Christian Wood put us at what? 70 million in salary?
If he is at his best Oladipo is a good player and the backcourt is one of the best defensive backcourts in the league...........if Wall and Oladipo are at their best. Oladipo had 21pts 6steals against The Kings in his last game
Oh lord, is this gonna be like the Kevin Martin era where we look for silver linings to make us believe in a team that’s a 9th seed at best?
Nobody is beating the Lakers can we all be real? If people are happy with participation trophy you wouldn't have so many salty posters here mad that Harden is leaving.
I'm really stumped as to what we're doing with Dipo. Do we ride the fringe with him and try and build a solid team until our picks convey, or do we dump him to a contender for more long-ball picks? I just checked the trade machine and there aren't any real contenders that could benefit from an Oladipo trade with what they currently have
