Wall isn't going anywhere unless we start attaching unprotected picks to him..... Tucker.... EGO.... we will see. Our two primary ball handers are coming off bad injuries that left them out.
Like who? EGo? It was a few years ago now that he was good... PJ? Washed. And those are the power forwards! Midget ball didn't work with a roster last year that was tailor made for it. It ain't gonna work with a rookie coach and 2 guards who can't really shoot (Wall/ Oladipo)
If the guys buy into a team-first, unselfish approach, hustle on D, and run like crazy, and Silas molds them into that, then...Like these guys: Starters are past and potential present/future All Stars: Wall Oladipo BMac Wood Cousins Bench has decent talent: Exum Gordon Tate Nwaba Caboclo Limited minutes from some guys keeping the bench warm for Gerald Green: Tucker House Brown Thomas Jones some Latvian dude I myself am eager to see these guys show us team ball >>> iso-ball. Go Rockets!
Remind me what happens if we end up top 4? Does the pick roll over to next year? I'd rather have 2022 and 2023 Edit: looking up the protections
Lol it's over bro. We don't have to delude ourselves into thinking these guys are good anymore. We're gonna suck and we're gonna like it.
The probability of us being so bad as to get a top 4 pick is pretty low. Might as well fight like hell to make the playoffs and attract free agents to a good, solid team in the summer.
Agreed. I also think the pick swap this year with the Nets is a bit of a hedge - there's a decent chance New Jersey has some growing pains (or just, Kyrie issues) that cause them to underperform in the regular season this year. If we do get pick swapped into the Heat's pick, we may at least recover some value by swapping it with New Jersey.
