Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do the pick swaps work? Is it Houston 2nd rounder for Brooklyn 1st rounder in each of those years?
Poor BKN fans. All these years they were trolled and harassed by Boston fans. Many times it was more Boston fans watching BKN piling up all the losses, than actual BKN fans. And history has the tendency to repeat itself.
maybe... depends on how far down the crazy hole Kyrie decides to go... and would KD and DJ cool with Kyrie being moved - they assembled by design... This is going to be a volatile situation... if everything goes right and everybody is happy - it might work out for them... but Harden couldnt get along with CP3... his buddy WB was appalled and wanted out... he and Wall were supposedly tight - we see how long that lasted when together.. They got at least 2 narcissistic personalities in Blames and Kyrie - and a lil bi*ch in KD coming back from a major injury.. yeh.... i think this could get interesting... imo...
When Larry Sanders retired to smoke pot he got back most of his $. Let alone Kyrie who is a superstar and .."woke". He will blame the NBA for being racist and discriminating against mental illnesses and he will get every penny.
No I believe the Rockets have the option of switching their 1st for Brooklyn’s if they have a better pick than us.
I don’t know if they will this year. They don’t have any depth now and outside of KD their defense is very suspect. I don’t think they can beat LA
I just wonder what all those who are whining and blaming Tillman really wanted? It was abundantly clear to anyone with a brain stem that Harden was acting like a complete ass and wanted to force his way out of Houston. Once that happened, this team was looking at a serious rebuild. Now they have the draft picks and player pieces to do so. Especially since Morey and D'Antoni left them high and dry with none of each.
I once thought Sean Marks was a pretty heady GM. Now, if I was a Nets fan, would be extremely dubious. That team is now very volatile with a lot of extreme talent, but also extremely low emotional IQ's being led by a goobish newb in Nash who already looks like his balls are stuck firmly in the player's purse. This has great potential for us to be something huge in the near future, pick-wise.
I definitely do, you all over thinking it. Do you remember the last time James Harden had a top 10 player next to him. Brooklyn will be fine. At worst they trade Kyrie for good pieces.
This is a horrible god awful take. The only thing you have right is Harden forcing his way out of here.
Harden is going to show up in Brooklyn with the fat suit off and a haircut/ beard trim and the media is going to be reporting on the absolute steal the Nets pulled off.
