Even if we hire him, it’s meaningless without firing easterby

    What does that mean?

He's saying Easterby is getting fired?

7 teams need a head coach

8 head coaches. Brady, Arthur, EB, Staley, Saleh, Eberflus, Pederson, Urban Meyer

as disastrous and self imploding the owner has been chances are they can walk away with a promising coach, all of those 7 teams can.

    (Narrator)
The Texans opted to go with Jerod Mayo.

Apparently Eagles inquired about Lincoln Riley who declined. Might take a look at Ryan Day.

Why is Joe Brady so sought after as a head coach candidate? I haven't paid close attention to the Panthers over the years, but looking at the stats from this season it seems like the Panthers were in the bottom 1/3rd of the league in most of the major offensive statistics. What makes him special when his team isn't really performing on that side of the ball?

Didn't McCaffrey only play in 3 games this season?

He's arguably the best offensive weapon in the league.

They had two 1,000 yard receivers with Teddy B under center. More importantly it was done without arguably the best offensive skill player in the NFL.

Edit: Nevermind, just went back and looked. I didn't realize how young he was or that this was his first season with the Panthers.

The two people that are most pleased today with this James Harden fiasco are Cal McNair and Jack Easterby.

Would be a very Texan thing to do if they hire Caldwell.
