Good news: Houston looks great on front page of ESPN.... Lead story is about trading D. Watson, story section talks about J. Harden trade, next section talks about Astros and cheating.........
https://sny.tv/articles/nets-james-harden-pursuit-kyrie-irving-frustration A source with knowledge of the situation told SNY early Tuesday that there is concern that Irving may not be back "anytime soon." ESPN reported Tuesday that the Nets don’t expect Irving to return before the end of the week. One other point of clarification on Irving’s situation: There have been several reports stating that Irving is away from the team in the wake of the riots at the US Capitol Building last Wednesday. One source familiar with Irving’s thinking says that part of the reason he’s been away from the team is frustration in the aftermath of the news that the Kenosha police officer who shot Jacob Blake won't be facing any criminal charges. Irving, per reports, had been concerned that the NBA resuming its season in the Orlando bubble last summer would take attention away from the efforts around the country to push for social justice and equality. Just to be clear: I don’t know – and am not going to guess – about all of the reasons Irving is away from the team. I’m just clarifying that the recent events surrounding the Jacob Blake case were one of the reasons Irving has been away from the team. And that event, moreso than the riots at the Capitol Building, contributed to Irving being away from the club. One other note on the Harden trade: several teams monitoring the situation expected the Boston Celtics to make a run at trading for Harden. People close to several Celtics players who were likely to be in a Harden trade were prepared for Boston to make a move. Per The Athletic and ESPN, that now seems unlikely. Both outlets say the Rockets are considering final offers from Brooklyn and Houston. The Athletic first reported that the Nets continued to have interest in Harden.
Trade him to Philadelphia for Simmons and Thybulle and picks and get it over with. I have no interest in a deal with Caris LeVert as a headliner, and Jarrett Allen would have to be paid after the season as a restricted free agent. Simmons has his flaws, but he’s still a taller, more athletic Draymond Green in a worst case scenario. The only way I’d deal with the Nets is if it was a three-team deal where the Nets traded Irving, the Rockets traded Harden, and the Rockets receive the young talent they like from a third team in exchange for Irving. Plus, James is fooling himself if he thinks Durant is going to be happy with him playing ISO-ball every possession. In Philadelphia, he would still get to do that, and have a team of shooters around him.
Lol Stephen, it has been 9 games and now you are commenting? What about your 'I said my first hi to James.' Silas is damn too naive, Harden's trip to Lil Baby screamed he wanted out. Silas doesn't know that he is in an abusive relationship even if he is slapped left and right.
A package centered around Siakam is not good enough. Hope it's not Toronto unless they increase the offer.
And here I am campaigning against Simmons. While Lebron and Harden was plotting to give us Kuz and Schroeder. Just disgusting.
All I can tell you is several teams have been trying to trade players to the Kings to get draft picks or a young player from the Kings.... that includes Indiana, Dallas, Philadelphia, Raptors and Brooklyn.... the Clippers called a few days ago.
