I'll spoiler even though we probably shouldn't need to by this point... Spoiler He did have the dark saber, but he's not a Jedi. He's not going to be able to use the thing to deflect blaster bolts, which means he would have to get through all their fire to get close enough to slice them up. Sure, he's got beskar armor, but that stuff doesn't cover every square inch of his body, and they likely wouldn't eventually wear him down before he could slice and dice them all.
Spoiler Grogu was right there, though. Who didn't want Grogu going medieval on the dark troopers with the dark saber?
I agree. Two scenes that I immediately thought: Firefly Mando landing the crippled Razor Crest on the dock, reminded me of Serenity (the spacecraft). and actually, there are a lot of scenes of Razor Crest that reminded me of Serenity. (RIP Razor Crest) The chase scene in the Bill Burr episode, reminded me of the chase seen at beginning of Serenity.
