well rox would need it when they meet the lakers in the 1st round, if they do make the playoffs.

Schroder played beautifully for the Lakers. Our guards are either too lazy or too slow to keep up with him, so he dances around the perimeter and finds Davis and James in any spots they want to be on the floor, or finds scrubs cutting to the basket uncontested.

Defensively, the refs set the tone early that "intent to defend" Anthony Davis is a foul and sometimes a technical. That really bogged the game down.

Because Cousins has the patience and temperament of a 2 year old, this was not a game he was going to survive. It was an (inevitable?) bonus that he took out their equivalent moron, Morris.

As a result, we built a huge early defecit, and started launching threes. In between when the refs were stopping the game for 2-10 minutes at a time to check on the health of Lebron and Davis. (That damn first half was 90 minutes... it was like a bad NFL game.)

Because we are not a great 3 point shooting team, all of our threes went short off the front of the rim or guys passed off shots and turned it over, both igniting fast breaks for them, which led to an early 25-4 fastbreak point advantage. So we shot more 3s, and the cycle continued.

They moved the ball well and their role players hit open shots. We couldn't rotate or switch well and the result of every 3-4 Lakers passes was inevitably a guy with a clear lane to the basket.

In the second half Gordon tried to see how many times he could be indecisive and turn the ball over at the top of the key. Harden eventually got jealous and tried to do the same thing. So many bad dribbles or lazy passes.

All the while the refs decided that contact is not equal (and neither are "demonstrative action" or "overt action" technicals) because if you watch, during every time out, every dead ball, between quarters, half time - the rest of the players are at the bench, and where is Lebron James? Over huddled with the refs. It's like that in every Lakers game. Lebron is employed by the NBA.

You can't bring your B game against a Lebron team. And right now this is just a B-team, it will be until they find a 2-way PF.

Paul gets a lot of credit (and should) for the 2018 season but younger-Tucker-Ariza-Moute deserves a ton as well in my opinion. We've never replaced that until we got closer with Covington-Tucker. But now we're back to old-Tucker-Tate-Nwaba, but none have the physical tools to guard PFs at this point, and Tucker is a liability on offense.

It truly blows my mind that people thought this team was going to be any good. It’ll need an MVP lift from Harden to even be a .500 level team. Downgrades across the board from last year’s team which wasn’t even that good.

Which is why Harden wants to leave. Duh.

Once Gordon and Harden come back, we'll be the team nobody wants to see come playoff time... guaranteed.

Lakers are lucky they won't have to face us early
