The good ol' "many people said"

Why can't a reporter follow up with "can you list a couple of those people sir?"

Wake up America. It was absolutely and completely appropriate for MAGA standard.

Of course he will say it was totally appropriate, ...March to the Capitol. What could go wrong? A sensible approach would be not having a rally to begin with or at least not mentioning “marching to the Capitol”

I completely get questioning the validity of the voting and how things can possibly get manipulated but without clear cut evidence it’s still conjecture and accepting the results is the only way forward. I do think we need to study or review voting process rules or state laws continually for fairness but beyond that you accept the results as correct -

“People thought that what I said was totally appropriate”.

Are those people Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes?

Trying to find a systemic issue based in a narcissistic egomaniac finding bs claims of "fraud" is dumb. Our voting system in terms of minimizing fraudulent votes is fine.

The actually issues with voting are the supression efforts before an election by state legislators and governors by doing things like closing down polling stations in dense neighborhoods that need more to not generate long lines.

Ah, his wink wink way of totally not threatening more violence from his cult

He peeks his head out because he’s relatively sure most of his GOP enablers will still support him

Trump will never admit that he is to blame nor will he admit his defeat in the election because he is a narcissistic buffoon. So this news does not surprise me and just makes me feel that he needs to be removed by the 25th amendment like yesterday. Too bad, that things will drag out and it won't be until after Biden's inauguration that he is held accountable.

I just want to see, for once, Trump to be held accountable for his actions. Seeing him not able to run for office in the future would be nice, too.

Narcissist are delusional, they create their 'truth' in their own heads
The man is insane, always was, and 74 million people voted for him, that's insane, groupthink echo chamber insane
And Fox news is to blame

It's who he is. (I'm glad you are no longer approving this behavior). And he will enable his cult followers for this new low, the MAGA standard, and his constant normalization of unacceptable behaviors. This time it is normalization of incitement of violence at min to let's redo the coup again. It wasn't just this one speech. It has been in the work for weeks with his constant lies on election fraud, that he won big, and we cannot let the evil and traitors within the left, the GOP, the Judges, Pence, Green Martians and Lizard people steal the election.

Yes lets make things fair starting with getting rid of the electoral college and the redlining of districts.

I had been inclined to let Biden 'move on' and not get bogged down with litigating and prosecuting all of the dodgy stuff Trump has done. Since the Capitol Riot, I really think we have to. Whether by DOJ or Senate report or what, we need official recognition by the federal government of all that was done wrong and moves to safeguard it from happening again.
