lol i'm sure belichick missed working with easterby and caserio so much he wants to come to houston for a total rebuild with no deshaun watson and no draft capital.
You won’t hear me defending any of the Chicago sports teams... the Bears ownership reminds me of the Texans ownership... their ownership is incapable of hiring someone competent to run their football team.
Just finished listening to Patrick storm with Seth Payne on a podcast and I feel better. Basically said Texans aren’t trading Watson and that Watson hasn’t asked for a trade and doesn’t want to leave Houston. Something along those lines. He also mentioned it’s a toss up between Brady and daboll most likely
Devonta Smith was drafted with the pick we owe to Miami in McShay’s mock, just imagine Deshaun to Devonta *pain
I don’t like how they conduct business either. However at the end of the day At this point it is all speculation. No one will know until after the coach hire and McNair and Watson meet.
Smith is 6'1'' 174lb (maybe). He needs a weight program. If he can keep his speed, he will be a helluva threat.
After all that's happened, I'd be thrilled with Brady. I think he and Deshaun together would kill it. Having a younger head coach with Deshaun giving input would be ideal, imo. Getting Easterby fired and then hiring Brady would be more ideal, but at this point, I'd take any bit of good news I can get.
Hell yeah And him and deshaun can grow together to really make something special here. I also see a little bit of Pete Carroll in Brady possibly with the whole fun and charismatic personality would be a real “culture” change here with Brady.
At this point, I don’t care who the head coach is as long as Deshaun approves and signs off on him. We waited almost 20 years for a QB of Deshaun’s caliber. If cal, easterbunny, and Casserole mess this up... this franchise is screwed for the next 5 years at least
