I never scrutinized his play to the tiniest detail so I forgot how much he moved off ball or if at all in the playoffs.

They had more efficient shooting yet their record was slightly worse than the Rockets' which suggested their D was worse.

 

Correct, but I think we as fans usually always look to tweak the offense to be more efficient instead of looking at the defense.

 

I think he played alot like Harden but took fewer step back 3s, more step backs in crunch time.

He usually probes the defense and kicks it out fairly quickly or makes the layup, fadeaway 2.

A lot of spin moves like Giannis, fakes, Up and under, Harden doesn't use it enough.

I'm now referring to the Houston Rockets as the Houston Bobcats. That's how bad they've been.

Given the time that he's missed, I wasn't expecting much from Wall. Beard is an MVP and Face of the Franchise. The team reacts/responds to him.

 

He's done better than MDA. MDA never coached he just let Harden do whatever. lol Harden is learning what his other coaches he has gotten fired failed to do. Make better shot decisions vs shot attempts. He is still efficient overall and is our best player but he had a mediocre night. 2-8 from 3 with 7 TO. No matter who the coach is our TEAM overall has to do better. It would help if our superstar lead by example like previous seasons. James has the green light like previous seasons.

 

Change the starter and move tucker to guard Leborn and start cousions vs Gasol. Harden plays back his own style and hold the ball. Wall only starts to play when harden takes rest

 

Of course MDA coached, he is a goofy guy and gave funny interviews or stupid ones.

Point is he gives players the freedom that they need in the regular season, I think he prepares them really well so in the games it creates this notion that he is wasting Time Outs.

He is not an In Game coach.

He knows where to put his ISO player.

 

No doubt, he just don't know how to coach the team over the hump. That is bad.

 

True, I think he prepares them for the games up until those elite teams. Then he is out of his natural depth.

Silas is a fking talker. 'Oh, I have counters against the Lakers'.

I hope he isn't just a talker. We had Morey, screw his arse.

His only counter is to outshoot LA and hope they brick every shot.

 

Wayyyy too early for your negativity. What exactly is Silas supposed to do??? The Lakers are twice as tall and talented as us with the current squad. Wall and House are both already out for tomorrow’s game so give the guy a break. He’ll win three in a row after that as the schedule eases a bit.

 

Wha..he maximized Harden, he got us wins. This such bullshit, WE ARE WORSE. Our offense is much worse. And yet he should still have the ball in his hands because everyone else sucks at creating efficient offense. That is a fact. The only thing wrong without our previous system is that it didnt have a number two option next to James Harden.

how do you miss wide open shots and you are a professional bb player paid millions to play and 3pt shot is the crux of the game nowadays?

nope, lakers scored at will in transition and on drives and played stretches of lockdown defense to blow us out.

 

Does Harden (run) like Curry or Klay.. or does he lightly jog like it’s a walk through ... Can’t be a decoy if you don’t sell it.

 

if that was the case, he wouldn't give a damn about setting up plays for others. People just take his high scoring for granted as if it is normal. The coach wants him to play a different style and he is, but some fans blame him for changing his style

 

Well that is wrong, he got in foul trouble early and had a good second half. had 23 points

 

There are flashes that we are going to be very good in the second half of the season when the game plan is in tact and we have our full squad. Boogie looks real good, just got to stay on the court
