Breaking 1-06-21: MAGA terrorist attack on Capitol

Haha you think I’m a trumper after I said he did badly in 2020? Okay idiot whatever you say. The mob riots by BLM and Antifa showed the ugliness when we choose a side just as much as the capitol mob riots

 

So systematic racism refused home ownership to blacks which then created a wealth gap so great that black people were forced into low income neighborhoods which then led to great rise in violence and crime. No ownership meant living a life of tenancy that over the years degraded property values and sank black people even lower to almost impossible opportunity's of success and equal wealth gaps. This led to even more crime which potentially spiked police and black men interaction. Police brutality grew at the same rate that crime grew putting many black men in jail and sometimes for long periods of time. I'm sure a bill passed that put black men in jail for non violent offenses didn't help with the large amount of single black mothers raising children on their own who also just so happens to have friends in the same neighborhood in the same situation. Which I'm sure doesn't start to normalize into a culture or anything. And while not every single child raised this way was impacted negatively many more did. Causing a cycle that can only end by fixing what went wrong in the first place. Wealth gap and home ownership.

 

So Antifa and BLM can do no wrong? They are precious and we should protect them at all cause. We should never compare these riots? No matter how bloody or nasty they get? Violence is okay for one but not the other. Lets just focus on Trump fanatics I guess, that's whats brave and norm these days.

 

salvy, no, not at all. I’ve been clear in my prior posts about condemning BLM and antifa violence and riots. That is non negotiable, what they did must be condemned. Full stop.

my comment to Roxran is part of a chain of comments about him equating what the trump mob did to the riots of this summer. Roxran is continually being cute and trying to equate the two.

it is a matter of pure luck that the trump mob did not set off a bomb or otherwise kill off congressmen/women. Their actions and the context in Which it happened, and the intent to stop congress from certifying the vote... those things set their actions FAR apart from the rioting of this summer. They attacked the seat of the federal government. There is no way to equate that to other rioting.

 

Good attempt, but the purpose isn't to discuss racial inequities but to deflect from and defend the trump incited riot and attack of the capital.

 

I just don't understand what then end goal was, so stupid. Even if they did stop the vote certification for that day it would have been certified the following. The police officer that passed, he did nothing other than go to work. For all those that go to jail, I hope liking Trump enough to ruin their lives was worth it. They will now for ever be under a terrorist list while Trump golfs his life away.

 

For Trump the end goal was chaos and self-aggrandizement.

 

One near term goal was clear - interrupt the congressional certification of the vote.

evidence suggests that some parts of the mob were prepared to do much worse, whether it was to apprehend or harm democratic congressmen and women and Mike pence.

look up video interviews of trumpers who didn’t invade the Capitol - they felt there was absolutely nothing wrong with attacking the capitol. Some said they had the right to drag out pelosi by their hair.

Trump has convinced his supporters that the election was stolen, and as a result, any action necessary to put Trump in office is justified. That is the damage that Trump has done. He has attacked the ideas of facts, truth.

 

I don't understand all these big words, but orange man bad.

 

That rioter chasing the black officer up the Capitol stairs has been arrested and got hit with 5 federal charges. He may die in prison. LOL

 

Trump shouldn't be walking around freely.

These excuses from those being arrested are laughable. "I just walked into film". "I was trying to tell everyone this is sacred ground". "Nobody obstructed me or stopped me or questioned me"
