No way in this world should House be starting over Mac. I know it was just one game last night, but this spans last season too. The “eye test” clearly shows McLemore to be the better player between the two. Is he the long term solution at Small Forward....most likely not, but short term this move needs to be made.

I like him right where he is. The second unit needs guys who do what he does.

He should not be a solution at SF, not short term or long term.

I agree. Harden guards the post. Tucker on the best perimeter player unless they are too speedy (Wall guards them).

    House is too stupid.

House has always been the more reliable player on the court than Mac

Sorry, I think you just said House and Reliable together

(btw, I think we need a decent 2-way forward to really help round out this team. Mac isn't that, but he could be a JJ Reddick 6th man. I just think House is trash and has the IQ of an over-baked potato.)

    We need a starting 3.

Ben needs to be where he is.....a solid rotational player off the pine.

100% agree, but in the meantime we are not the best we can be with House starting. That will cost us come playoffs if he still has that role.

Tate should start at the 3. Its a gamble but it speeds up the process for him. He seems to be playing a few years ahead of his age.

House is better, minimally, but Mclemore jsut knows and lays his role more precisely.House been practicing too much with Harden trying to imitate him. When he plays within the system and himself, House is ok. House was at his best his first year with us, catch and shoot specialist Dan defense . Now he’s dribbling, trying to go coast to coast, even was trying step-back threes .

mclemore just does what he’s suppose to: Catch and shoot

House reminds me of Ariza his first stint with us: trying to do way too much more than his basketball capabilities allow him to do.

This is a classic overreaction from one game. McLemore is a shooting guard and House is a small forward, our defense and bench would suffer from making this move. We just need to upgrade our starting 3 with a better small forward.
