“Eberfulus has already back out with Texans, not comfortable with their process.”
“Daboll could still hear from the Texans, though hasn’t yet.”

The problem isn't the player picking the next GM or help picking the next GM, but it's the fact that Cal McNair has stated that Watson will be a big part of it, only for Watson to find out like the rest of us. Or Watson is pissed that Easterby will still be with us.

The way Cal McNair is handling this is whack. Deshaun is doing the right thing by stepping his foot in before the McNairs waste another Texan career like it did with Andre Johnson and J.J. Watt.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy had a strong interview with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday and is very much in the mix to become the team's new head coach, according to a source who was involved in the hours-long interview.

Bieniemy, who is considered one of the top head-coaching candidates and who has interviewed for multiple head-coaching openings, "prepared, knew everything about the team, had a great plan and is a bona fide candidate," the source said.

The source said Falcons officials are furious about reports that Bieniemy, 51, did not interview well and "absolutely refute" those reports.

They didn't make the prayer meeting at Cal's house with Cal and Easterby.

Since" EB" is off the table, the colts dc turned the interview down and I feel Saleh will pass on the interview too, I've grown to like a new crop of guys.

    1a) Arthur smith or Brady.

    1 b)Daboll or Tim Kelly .

All choices will have to be comfortable with that thing shadowing the corners during practice like David Carr's dad. That's not an opinion but a demand. May the most righteous and blessed man get the job, under his eye

Rumor out is the the Texans org is the only org not to want to interview EB.

Personally I would want to interview EB just to pick his brain. They might learn something in the interview that might help Watson. EB wouldn't be the guy I would hire though.

“Houston Texans: Sources tell FootballScoop new GM Nick Caserio thinks highly of Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley. Staley might get a shot there. Stay tuned…”

Would be 100% okay with this. Young up and coming defensive mind that clearly has a really strong scheme. He could put together a really strong staff as well I would imagine.

Saleh and Staley have the same problem to me. Yeah they have really good defenses; but they have really good defensive players. How will that defense do without no HOFs like Donald and Ramsey. And the 49ers pretty much dedicated their draft picks to their defense year after year.

Coach Taylor is being overlooked. Can operate in multiple styles, play action, spread. You name it.
Most importantly when he delivers a speech players run through that wall:
Every man, at some point in his life is going to lose a battle. He is going to fight and he is going to lose. But what makes him a man, is that in the midst of that battle, he does not lose himself.”
(Yeay there is my FNL ref for the day)

Saleh did a solid job with a most of the year banged up Niners defense.

Interviews are somewhat overrated. Interviewing well is a skill. And it's often a skill that has nothing to do with how well a person can do the actual job. A lot of incompetent people get hired for jobs just because they interview well.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Cal McNair and John McClain are the same person.
