Well that's really hard to say. There is so much more involved in winning a championship than just pure talent. Chemistry, teamwork, and even a bit of luck. Who's to say Hardens ball dominate iso style would turn off some of the other players? Perhaps their teamwork takes a big dive. If other players are not as involved maybe they don't play as good D. I'm not convinced if you swap players it's automatically championship. Harden has proved he cant coexist with another all star.
Dude I don't get it, lol. Guys on this site are discounting Curry's championship like it didn't mean anything. But I would be willing to bet my bottom dollar if the situation was reverse that would be the first thing they would mention. "Oh well Harden has rings and Curry doesn't". There is a reason why Mitch Richmond as great as he was will never hold a candle to Jordan. Same thing with guys like Dominique Wilkens. Rings matters...only on CF... smh
Some guys just get lucky. Like take Kobe and TMac for example, two guys of similar skill sets. Now TMac had a couple of seasons where he was statistically a better scorer than Kobe. But nobody ever believed McGrady was the better player over Bryant, because Kobe had the hardware and Tracy didn't. There is a reason why guys like Charles Barkley and Karl Malone are routinely left out of the top 15-20 greatest players of all-time list. Rings...
Alot of people remember that being one of the worst years (injury wise) in NBA history. No Love & Kyrie in the finals was the icing on the cake for GSW. Meanwhile, GSW fans say Toronto only won their title because they were banged up (which is probably true). Cant have it both ways.
Excellent, excellent, excellent take here sir. If you were close to me now I would fist bump you lol. It's not about individual success or stats, it's about the success or stats of the collective. That's what you guys don't get. Individual accolades, scoring titles, all NBA first team nominations, MVP, sixth man of the year, assist leader, etc, none of that $hit wins you championships. Team chemistry means more in the grand scheme. Just talk to Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell about that. The superior team will always beat out the superior player.
Dude a title is a title. I used to think just like that a few years back but then I realized you can't control who gets injured on the opposing team. You gotta play who is on the schedule. That's just like these idiots claiming that the Lakers bubble championship should have an asterisk. Give me a break...
It's pretty much just GSW and Toronto that year so both teams deserved it. Put yourself in their shoes, Rockets fans are mourning about that 2018 WCF loss to this day, and the team didn't make the Finals. I think Kevin Durant won't be leaving the Warriors for another year if they'd won the title and Durant stayed healthy. Losing those 2 stars to injury actually accelerated Durant's farewell. Of course GSW fans are sour about it. It was cataclysmic for the W franchise.
Jordan was out chasing baseballs, looking ridiculous living his childhood dream fantasy when we won in 94. Does that championship not count? See how your own flawed logic can be used against you?
Injuries and cheating are two totally different things buddy. That's a major major major reach. Try harder...
Nothing to reach about. One thing (cheating or injuries) gives a higher advantage to one team while the other is at a larger disadvantage. But a title is a title right?
Not really necessary since its pretty much common knowledge to Rockets fans but this article does a good job of referencing those theories.... https://www.google.com/amp/s/rocket...-second-rockets-title-jordan-was-playing/amp/
Do you have friends or a brother who you talk sports to? Go ask 10 people if cheating and injuries are the same thing. Why do you think the Astros cheating scandal was front page news everywhere bro? You could not go anywhere on the web without someone talking about it. Even non sport sites were talking about it. That was a totally unprecedented event that shocked the sports world. Cheating is not equal to someone breaking their leg or arm bro. Injuries are just apart of the game. Has there ever been one season in any sports league (minor or major) that didn't have not 1 injury? Your argument is very flawed.
Alot of baseball fans also know "sign stealing" is just a part of the game Dont get me started. You wont be able to hang. Keep getting all your sports knowledge from sportscenter like the other clowns
LMAO. Did you read your own article that you are trying to use bro? The author is not stating we won in 94 or 95 because Jordan was not there. This is from Ben DuBose @The Cat. That's not what he is arguing here.
They reference the theories that Jordan was rusty in 95. You must not have read the whole thing. Wouldnt expect you to anyway
You're just getting your ass whooped with logic and it's killing you. LMAO. I'm not using BSPN talking points, I hate BSPN. Sign stealing is legal in baseball. That's not cheating. But when you try to compare cheating to injuries you lose. It's ok you are wrong, you don't have to admit it but you're wrong.
