after the undercut thing, malone got a double technical with francis am i right? then, right after that, malone went after boki and got another technical. am i missing something here, because i count two technicals. why wasnt he ejected?
I've talked to lakers fans who have argued that Francis pushed malone, causing him to lose his balance and undercut Boki. The replay shows that francis and malone's elbows might have touched, and it sure looks like malone intentionally hopped into a position to undercut someone. Then, the same people argued that Malone did not deserve a technical, that he was not mad after getting "fouled" by boki, and that he did not follow boki in anger. It's like arguing with someone who has skewed sense of reality.
both of those myths are dispelled by watching the clip. it shows the play from every conceivable angle...and it is obvious that.. 1) Malone undercut on purpose...he was on both feet and stuck his rear out so Boki would come down on it.. 2) He was PISSED after Boki blocked him and was coming after him. the video dont lie...it is all there in living color.
Wait, Is that Jeff telling nachbar to undercut him after he blocked the shot???? After boki blocks it he quickly walks away and goes to jeff who does this undercutting motion w/ his hand.
That was exactly my point, the video does not lie. It's amazing how being a laker fan can make you see everything entirely different.
