Westbrick didn’t get a triple double so it was a bad game for him

What's the worst shooting percentage for a high volume scorer ever? He's currently at 37% fg% on 19 shots.

The rockets really found a creative way to get the most out of Russ last year but I think it also forced teams to figure out how to best defend him. In the past teams didn't sag off as blatantly as they do now

the early 60's had really bad percentages, but if you compared to league average, i would guess one of kobe's post-achilles seasons would be up there. some crazy low percentages.

Tonight, he took 16 shots to score 12 points with 7 turnovers. smh. Beal's talent is wasted there.

Member when posters on this message board spent a year trying to tell everyone how good Westbrook was and it was a clear upgrade from Paul?

I was hoping for his sake that the playoff disaster was something he could overcome. Doesn’t look like it.

Scott Brooks' teams were never that good on Defense.

I just got through scrolling through Wizards and Westbrook tweets and articles. I didn't see any blaming or even hinting their start has anything to do with WB.

So folks in Washington wake up slowly?

Russ has a 93 offensive rating, and a 113 defensive rating

    still can’t play B2Bs

    he’s shooting 38% from the field on 19 shots a game, and taking 5 threes...he’s below 70% from the line...over 5 turnovers a game

we did a great job getting rid of him when we did...even managed to get a better player and a 1st round pick in return

this trade deadline or next offseason, we would’ve had to attach a pick or 2 to Russ just to get a team to even think about trading for him

this is who should’ve had the ball more when playing next to Harden according to some...

    93 offensive rating...my God

Funny, the WHOLE sports media association was wrong about the Westbrook trade. They said the Rockets got fleeced and we got worse. But John Wall is a FAR better player than Westbrook and it shows after a couple games. Hes also a better decision maker. I'd take Wall over Westbrook any day

Most importantly Wall adapts. I can see him making adaptations to his game. If he goes solo one play he will find Harden next three plays. If he sees offense struggling he will go solo penetration. Westbrook really just had one gear in his game

Id say a good portion of the posters on this message board who spent the entire year defending Westbrook and somehow believing he was a really good player were pretty certain we for sure downgraded as well.

So bizarre how some could watch Westbrook play, look at all the numbers and then come away believing that somehow he helped win games.

It was so obvious before we even saw what Wall could do that, yes Wall was going to be somewhat of a gamble, but Westbrook was already a known loss. This isn’t near a Harden trade level win for the new GM, but to trade Westbrook for a better player AND a pick was a stroke of GD genius.

Relax. It's the inferior conference. WASH will still make the playoffs. Playoffs are a different story (just ask Harden) they will make some noise against shaky top seeds like BOS and MIL.
