I hope that we keep both and add another bruising PF in the offseason, along with a sharpshooting 1 (Barry). And I think that Yao and SF3 should aim at 1st and 3rd team all-NBA for next season.

Yao now should see that he can play Shaq to a draw even the latter has help from Marlone. SF3 should see that he can play with Yao effectively and JVG needs to design for offensive sets to free SF3 when Yao is both on and off the court.

If we do these things right, we should expect a 55 win season.

BTW, I love what we see from the Rockets-Lakers series. Without Marlone, we would have been 3-1 in the series. You cannot ask more than that.

The playoffs really showed that SF still has it, and it feels good. JVG has put the ball in SF hands a little more and he has done a lot of good things with it.

Next seasonI realy dont mind who we have on the Team except we do need to have a starting Point Guard that can pass the ball to Yao Ming as our first option.

Indeed - it can be awfully tough to get the ball in to a big man that doesn't tend to get strong position, if he gets position at all.

Eddie Griffin I believe really set this team back alil .... He was the PF we were hoping for. A LOW POST scorer/defender beside Yao on this team. Cato is mainly used for his defense but EG brings offense too inside. :( :(

Maybe thing would have been diff in this serie if it wasnt for his PROBS.

I am sure that every Center (save for Shaq) would disagree with your assessment of Yao

It amazes me that the 2nd or 3rd best Center in the game is drawing criticism because he is merely holding his own against the best Center in the game instead of dominating him

Steve Just need to turn the TO down.

Yao needs to learn to be more agressive without being predictable.

Jeff Van Gundy needs to let the players be agressive on offensive.

Eddie Griffin was nice in theory but he really did not perform like any of us hoped he would. He was a bust in the making..

There did that make you feel better?:)
