I want the young wiz kid joe Brady Young Charismatic Brilliant offensive mind Can grow with Watson Innovative Under Sean Payton for couple of years Reminds me of Sean McVay
Why bother with Bieniemy when you can stay in house and promote Tim Kelly instead? I mean, TEXANS WAY, am I right?!
Felt disrespected that they didn't even schedule an interview with him at first and now seemingly are only doing it cause their franchise QB got mad.
On the positive side for Tim Kelly, look at Mike Vrabel, he was BOB's coaching tree and he turned out to be a good head coach. Maybe it could be the same for Tim Kelly. But hell no I don't want him.
They better keep TJ Yates. He’s a QB whisperer, and has done great things with Watson. He also won a playoff game as QB for the Texans. How many people can say that?
Vrabel is a smarter BoB but he's not all that. He makes the same boneheaded decisions to go for it on 4th down trying to be "aggressive". His defense is terrible and I thought he was a defensive coach. Right now he's being carried by a strong offense led by Arthur Smith and Derrick Henry who is just an absolute beast. The Titans have a lot of talent overall, I don't credit Vrabel for being the main guy who turned that franchise around
He'd be the best hire for Watson, imo. He's only like 7 years older than Watson, and is supposedly an offensive savant. So is Watson. Team the two of them up together, let them gameplan together. Hell, keep Kelly on as coordinator. Would be great for Watson security. If Watson approves.
Hopefully he selects a strong DC. Was the offense the reason why this team floundered? Dont get me wrong, I like Brady and was high on him early I just wonder if a defensive guy wouldn’t be able to get that side playing closer to the level of the offense. If you win games 30-29 it’s still a win I guess.
