You had all types at the demonstration and even inside the building. There were happy folks peacefully taking smiling selfies and right wing armed nut jobs apparently firing their guns and anarchists out to destroy things or I suppose some hoping to spark a fascist revolution.
I suspect that in general the folks sitting around in hotels afterwards having drinks like tourists and doing stuff like wearing their work badges etc. were the folks thinking they were just peacefully protesting.

I also do not like casually using such words as terrorists or criminals or coup makers to refer to all of them.

Needless to say if they had been Black Life Matters protestors they would have been treated much rougher.

Trump should be impeached for this along with the others reasons like trying to force the GA "Supervisor of Elections" to try to steal the election.

Never practiced criminal law in my other life, but technically everyone who went into that building could be charged with felony murder because deaths result in the commission of a felony. I'm assuming invading a closed federal building, carrying all sorts of weapons constitute a felony.

In practice, a few of these terrorists will be charged with murder or manslaughter, but I wonder if the rest of these thugs realize the kind of trouble they are about to be in. It will take at least a couple of years to sort this thing out, but they better get ready for Bubba in the big house.

They all had have one thing in common.

Those that lived got away with what no mob of blacks, Muslims, Asians, radicals, ISIS or any other group other than Trump flag carrying white men would have gotten away with. This was a domestic terrorist attack, when it comes to forcefully storming those barricades and breaking into the Capitol where our Vice President and Senators are working.

Nobody knew whether they had guns, bombs, knives, or weapons, but everyone knew this could happen. This was an inexcusable lack of security and force at a long publicized mass gathering of crazed and angry Trump radicals thinking they were gonna stop the Steal.

It could have been so much worse, but make no mistake, they were treated with far too much gentle touch compared to any other group as they gingerly escorted them back, when they refused to leave.
