If C-Wood is out and Cousins can only play 5 mins a night? I mean i think right now, the biggest problem is they need to trade for some bigs asap. How much longer they going to continue playing Tucker at the 5. You saw how bascily Domantis Sabonis had his way last night. Dedmon is still a free agent? I wonder why a player of Dedmon's caliber is still sitting out there? Is he injured or just done as a player. His last season with Kings was not good. That said, his ability to hit hit 3ball fits our system. Another guy who might become available soon is Omari Spellman. Young 6'9 stretch 5 with 7'2 wingspan. https://sny.tv/articles/knicks-plan-to-sign-taj-gibson-waive-omari-spellman
Yep, he is being waved so they can sign Taj Gibson. Do we have space to sign him though? Maybe we just have to give Cousins a lil more time to get back in shape and to calm the heck down to stop getting techs and ejections cause we do need him out there.
It's hilarious seeing a thread saying we need a big... Followed by posters saying " Yeah , he needs to be a great stretch big".... Stretch for what? We score 115+ now!... Get a big that provides physicality.. Something that can actually help this soft ass franchise...
Marcus is a gem of a guy enjoying life locally. Picked up a few pounds since retiring but looks like he could still protect the rim for 10mins or so!
No point getting another big when the coach is too dumb and refuse to play the bigs. Why didn't Cousins get more playing time, why wasn't Caboclo getting minutes with Wood out, it's been a layup drill for the Pacers. Wood and Cousins are stretch bigs, we can absolutely play Wood and Cousins together while also having Caboclo coming off the bench.....I'm just so sick of the ultra small ball., these bigs are not Capela who can't shoot and clog up the lane.
Man please...you just said he may be available.. Meaning he ain't ****!... Open mouth , insert reality
Moving goal posts now. Your first gripe was Spellman lacked physicality and you failed to do your due diligence before opening your yap.
Your only reference to the dude was his stretch 4 ability... Which is what I referenced... Bro, move around... I ain't into back and forth and " opening your yap" isms... You can make your point without slick talk.. I'd respect it more! ..
Can't believe I'm saying this but we need a guy like JeVale McGee--comes in, get rebounds, runs the floor, catches lobs, and do what's asked of him. Sure he makes boneheaded plays but he gobbles up rebounds and we need that right now.
You’re still wrong though, yap or no yap. Seems you want a big, physical defender who is already on a team? Pray tell, how are they to accomplish such a request?
They don't "need" bigs ..... What they really need is wings that are bigger than 6'5". S 6'8" / 6'9" guy at the 3 / 4 spot would sure help solve some of their problems defensively.
Although I do agree with your points here, Tuck and Nwaba both have 7' wingspans. We don't play defense with the top of our heads. It's be good to get a legit 5 though, Wood doesn't have enough sand in his pants.
Danuel House+ Chris Clemons +2 FRP ( Detroit Pick + Washington Pick) for John Collins. Wall/ Ben Harden / Eric Sterling Brown (he's clearly the most ready of the new wings)/Tate/Nwaba Collins / PJ Wood/Boogie
