So, I have $80 or so on Trump getting impeached on PredictIt purchased at an average price of 60 cents. We'll see how it turns out. Seeing that Trump support has become kind of a wedge issue on the Republican side, I figure that Pelosi might as well make all of the GOP members in the House take a vote on it. Also figure that Pence and the cabinet members would rather lay low than do something with the 25th. I could be wrong, but I can afford to lose the $80, especially the $650 I put in before the election is now about $1450 (thanks to Biden winning both nationally and at the swing states, the two GA Senate elections, and the MAGA objections yesterday).
The cost of ignoring Trump has already cost the USA one insurrection on the Capitol (that he loved BTW). Trump is the POTUS, leader of the most powerful national of the world. If Trump orders the military to invade Canada or Mexico, what kind of damage would be done before a) the 25th amendment is invoked b) the House impeaches Trump and the Senate removes him from office Neither is likely to happen in the two weeks that remain in Trump's Presidency. Demerits for them all, while Biden while picks up the pieces.
