TVs from Korea and Japan are superior to those made in China

For sure I'd choose the production quality of Japan/SK products over China.

EDIT - I care a bit about the quality of materials used, the effects on the environment, as well as work conditions for workers, and try to do my best to choose products with those thoughts in mind.

I'm real tempted to just buy a small gaming monitor for my ps5 and keep enjoying my LG OLED c8 (with no hdmi 2.1)

Common move. I hear smaller screens are best for FPS.

    LG unveils 2021 OLED TVs – C1, G1, Z1 with HDMI 2.1, VRR, Alpha 9-4, more

In 2021, LG Electronics will launch G1 (successor to GX) with a brighter 4K 'OLED evo' panel. It is described as "next-generation OLED technology" with 20% improved efficiency by manufacturing arm LG Display.

LG G1 will be available in 55, 65, and 77 inches while the more mainstream C1 (successor to CX) will be available in 48, 55, 65, 77, and for the first time 83 inches. C1 will feature the regular 4K OLED panel but will otherwise come packed with the same technology.

Had the Sony 77" OLED A9G installed Tuesday before the winter apocalypse. Picture is fantastic, its night and day from the 70 inch LG 4K UHD I had before. I was a little hesitant at the price point, but have no regrets and highly recommend the TV

I got the LG OLED you recommended and last night I wast watching Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime and it was doing this weird blue hue to green hue back and forth. I havent had that happen before any idea what was going on, maybe an Amazon issue or no?

Im using the app on the TV. I switched to the expanse while trying to figure it out earlier. Also which I have been watching and having no issues. And it doesnt do on that show but on Jack Ryan it does. very odd.
