It would be the most Rockets-thing ever to lose against Orlando, just to reel us back in after they beat the Lakers next game.
Can we play our bigs? I get it, switch everything makes it easier to contest shots...but if we don't get the rebound whats the point? Also, how many times did Sabonis literally just catch the ball in the paint, turn around, lay it up on his tip toes? Switching into mismatches like that doesn't help.
They have to get better as a team defensively with our bigs on the court or else what are we doing? They have no shot against the best teams because the best teams are going to play their bigs. They just have to get better at it anyway, we have 0 shot against most of the teams above us if we're just going to sit our bigs in clutch minutes. I just don't think playing forwards at center is going to get you very far. It just historically has never...ever...worked. It could win you a game but not a series. It's definitely not going to work when you're playing against Sabonis.
Boogies has never been good defensively in his entire career. Woods has shown flashes but even he looks to be worse than Boogie at drop coverage. You arent getting far with trash defense either. Small doesnt work because dude's get tired. The bigs are the one who are supposed to clean up the guard defense, not the other way around.
