I was called out on never experiencing a sports injury and responded with context. If you’re taking this as a brag, it was me simply explaining how I 100% don’t compare myself to NBA athletes and no one here should. After Nwaba dunked all over the Pacers tonight I’m not sure why you’re trying to dunk on me when I was making the point that he’d be more than ready to start the season. Some people in this thread probably need to eat some crow. But I’ll answer your question, yes I am a fitness enthusiast. Lifting, dieting and counting macronutrients are part of my everyday schedule. And again, I don’t compare myself to NBA athlete’s abilities’ or rehab schedules like some of the ridiculous post in this thread.
I actually do! I dabbled in breakdancing but really topped out as a glorified white guy with some rhythm at weddings. But I don’t compare myself to the abilities and rehab schedules of elite dancers though, and no one should!
this guy can not shoot from three or from the line the hustle, athleticism, and defense are nice, but that jumper looks broken Who would win in a shooting contest, Russ or Nwaba? People were calling him 3&D. How are u 3&D when your shooting sucks?
that 43% was on just 28 attempts...it’s a fluke AFAIC before that, he was 33% on 132 attempts, so below average...and that was on wide open shots pretty much because no one is rushing out to contest a Nwaba 3 point attempt he’s also a 66% free throw shooter on 369 attempts there’s ample evidence that he’s not a good shooter at all...he’s not as atrocious as he’s been to start this season, but still even just watching him and ignoring the percentages, his shot just doesn’t look good I hope I’m wrong, but looking at the numbers as well as watching him play so far, I don’t have high hopes for him when it comes to shooting
He needs to work on that shot and we need to get Green back and or Ben out there soon. Can we for once have a team who actually can shoot?!
2 things it seems we will never be: a good 3 point shooting team, and a good defensive rebounding team literally been bottom 5 in defensive rebound percentage every single year since Dwight’s 1st season with the only exception being 17-18 when we were 3rd this year, we’re still near the bottom with the rebounding hardly looking better than it did with last year’s midget squad every year, it’s nothing but bricks
What? Did we have good shooters last year???? You just said it. If you take a lot then you will make at least some and that will increase your offensive efficiency, literally what we have been doing to great success.
