Why does the starting line up hold more value than the closing line up? You would rather have one really strong line up parred with a weak one than a consistent one through and through.

In my opinion the starting line up in basketball is the most overrated thing in all of sports.

we needs a tall sf like Beasley 6 ft 9 inches to guard Leborn and Kawaii. It is difficult to wait for Ariza buyout, it really a weak point for Houston apart from the power forward

If we're talking about Michael Beasley being our savior then we're pretty close to hitting rock bottom for this team/season. We'll get to bedrock when Spanoulis or Lin becomes the next savior.

We needed a training camp w/ non dissociative Harden to jump out of the gate on all cylinders. Oh wow James. You got a talented big(wood) to run with... A couple of hungry vets in Wall & Cousins to light a fire under your fat ass. Show the fuxk up dude. This is on Harden.

Only conceivable upgrade for this roster is a Ego/House flip plus picks to truely get talent. Not sure ownership can handle that

I'm only enthused for this team bc I see the talent. But mostly the underdogs in Tate/Brown/Nwaba have actually given 100%. That's inspiring

 

the problem is Harden or Wall don't know how to play with each other, when one of them is not on the floor the offense is much smoother, and i don't see any improvement on defense

 

start Tate but do not put Eric in the starting lineup.

EGO + Tucker checking into the second unit is sexy and could spark some runs. Too bad it may get Tucker even more butt hurt so he'll prob stay in the starting lineup.

 

A couple more short-term fixes would be schematically. When we play well-coached teams like the Mavs that trap Harden on PnRs, we should utilize Harden in the post — especially since he said himself he’s been working on that.

Also would like to see the bench unit run their offense a bit more through Cousins.

So the same problem Harden has had with every star guard he's been paired up with. Even in our glorious 2017-2018 season, CP3 was best used as a stagger to Harden's time on the court.

 

You think Beasley can be a starter? And for a good team...?
