Steph made the playoffs 7 straight years including 5 STRAIGHT TRIPS TO THE NBA FINALS. What are you even talking about.
Steph was on a loaded team that made the playoffs and multiple finals. Now that he isn't (kinda the purpose of this thread)....
A great off-the ball shooter and guy that can guard 4 positions wouldn't contend with Harden? Or LeBron? Or Kawhi? Or countless others? Funny....
So let’s wait until his team sucks and then cancel all of his accomplishments. By this definition, Kobe wasn’t all that good. Look at the years post-Shaq and pre-Gasol. Look at the years post 2012.
Look, I get it. Some Harden fans are upset that he gets disrespected and think trying to denigrate Curry is the way to elevate Harden. It’s just such a bad look and comes across as hating. Harden is a great player. Steph is a great player. Both can be true.
You said Harden wasn't the Rockets best player on the floor in Game 4 of the 2018 WCF, when Harden was the leading scorer for both teams and had the highest BPM on the Rockets. That's not being objective.
It's a pointless exercise because you know I'm right. If you could prove me wrong, you'd obviously do so. Was Draymond Green elite last year?
Harden scored 30 points, and Chris Paul scored 27 points with significantly better shooting. I think most objective people would agree that CP3 played better than Harden.
most objective people would say the leading scorer with the most made FG's with the highest BPM while being the number 1 focus of the defense was the best player on the floor.
***Kobe’s supporting cast on his title teams: Prime Shaq for 3 ships....and the best frontcourt in the league Gasol/Bynum/Odom for his other 2 ships. This was a time where bigs dominated the league. ***Lebron’s teammates for his 4 ships: Prime Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Anthony Davis. The 2 best players of the last 20 years sure needed a lot of “help” to win their championships. It’s almost like basketball is a team sport lol.
Who cancelled his accomplishments? You may want to revisit the thread topic. It poses a question. This season will provide the answer.
No, it's pointless because Green is a great player and you are trying to pass him off as a scrub. If we can't even agree that Draymond is not a bum then it's a pointless exercise. Was Curry elite last year?
No they wouldn't. Objective people would absolutely look at shooting percentages. You're way off base here.
Kobe had a stretch without elite talent. He still drug teams to the playoffs. LeBron drug countess non star teams to the playoffs, and one Finals. He took a non star team to 6 games against Curry's stacked team. No one is referring to leading a team to a title in this thread.
Draymond Green WAS a great player in years past. Last year, he wasn't. Objectively, you have to operate based on the status quo which is last year. No, but you can't draw a conclusion from that due to the small sample size.
