Yeah, I dunno. That's a gimmick BS play. You have 4 on 3 going forward and you are moving the ball backwards. I get it that this being Steph Curry on the 3 point line makes it a higher quality option but opting out of a 4-on-3 for another ball-screen action on the perimeter doesnt sound too gucci to me...

 

Today is the last day of the season that we will be at .500 or below. Boring win. Go Rockets!

 

Amar'e was my first comparison when I saw him play this pre-season.

Amar'e didn't have the 3 point but it wasn't required at the time or even asked of from your bigs but he did have a jumper and was so versatile on offense.

 

Lets get it

 

You want defenses to make more quick decisions. The stationary 3 on 4 offense from doubled the Rockets run is very predictable and allows defenses to set easily which let's them away with making less mistakes.

Watch an entire GSW game. All those screens and off ball movements generate a lot of defensive indecisiveness which leads to a lot of mistakes which leads to a lot of just really easy buckets like backdoor gimmies.

Rockets just don't create as many of those east gimme shots.
