LOL Wesetbrook didnt beat ****, he was ass. They lost by 1. Durant beat him by 30 LOL. Harden didnt play like ass in game 6 or game 5. That's false. LOL Curry had 0 points in the first half, yea he had nice little second half but if Klay wasnt Hard carrying in the first our if Iggy doenst hit 6 threes its a different convo. Harden has better stats than him as a whole for that whole series. Playing with Durant doesnt give you a free pass to play like crap. You have no argument here.
2018, Curry had .579 ts% and 117 ortg, harden had .538 and 104 2019 harden did have better stats, but not in the last 2 games after Durant got hurt
And yet Harden's team took him to 7 games and would have beaten them had Cp not gotten injured. You dont get a pass for playing like crap with Kevin freaking Durant.
Well Harden outplayed him with Chris Paul underperforming pretty much that whole series while Durant carried Steph.
Like I said, anyone on the team that can create shots for himself or other players is the person I want creating (even if Harden is the best guy on our team at creating that doesn't mean that James has to always be the one to do it). You gotta take the training wheels off and see what the guys on your team can do. You are going to need the other guys to be able to step up and make plays. We can't always expect Harden to be the one to make a big time play, that's preposterous. Nobody in the league is as ball dominant as Harden was (I'll reserve my judgement of Harden for now until I see him play more this season). Take for instance tonight, I watched the Mavericks vs Bulls game. Zach dropped 39 but he didn't have the damn ball in his hand the entire time. Everyone was touching the ball, and I know the Bulls have a way worse lineup now from what we've had in the past. I have literally watched all 30 teams at least twice this year (this current NBA season). After watching the other 29 teams, I see why fans of other NBA franchises would be turned off by Harden. Houston's style of basketball under D'Antoni and Morey was a very unique style basketball I'll say that much(yes I get it Harden is the best iso player ever). But still let these other dudes on your team earn their pay checks...
Well you are seeing multiple dudes run it now, wether that's a good or bad thing we'll find out soon. But guys like Ariza, Tucker and Capela should never be doing more than than what they did here.
I was talking about the next year. And yes he did underperform in 2019. Neither Harden nor Cp had very high TS% for that series. Harden was still our best player in that series through 5 games. It's hard for someone to beat another team with 4 other all stars once your number 2 guy goes down. Lebron had a 47 TS% against the Warriors in 2014-2015.
I agree with you about those 3(Tuck, Clint, Ariza). I think it's a good thing if multiple dudes create offense for us. What happens if Harden gets hurt, ejected, traded, and he's unavailable for us? I'm just not one for putting all my eggs in one basket. I really like the changes that Silas is implementing. Seems like he is thinking 3 moves ahead...
Harden gave us 17 point leads in both game 6 and game 7. Cp3 was there to run the 2nd unit to keep the lead stable till harden checks back in. As soon as harden sat the warriors brought in Livingston, looney and iggy and cut into the lead before harden could finish getting his rest. Harden was worn out
