Not after tonight's performance by Steph. Media will splurge on this and start fancying the idea of GSW making 8th seed.

    Yup.

Harden could have finals averages of 35/9/12, Rockets be 62-10 and the media would still give it to someone less deserving.

He is averaging 37-11-5 right now. He dropped 44-17-6 on the same blazers with no preseason or training camp.

yea it's not gonna happen, i mean even the GM survey had Giannis or Lebron winning it this year and I know the media definitely wants to give it to Lebron or Luka.

Funny thing is Luka has had a terrible start to this year and that's the argument they used against Harden when Giannis won his first one (even tho it was a straight up lie). I bet the media won't be mentioning that when they vote for the MVP.

Clutchfans and the Rockets need to embrace the hate. Rockets should build their marketing around it. Stop the positivity and go funeral-black with everything. Only negativity and sarcasm.

MVP always gives to the best result team, but not award to the best statistics players. Let's see if Houston can beat Lakers twice in this month

So why did you defend Russ winning MVP that year?

    Remember?

Harden checked all the boxes for an MVP in 2018 and you still had the media try to force Lebron in there and the Cavs barely won 50 games and finished 4th in the Eastern conference.

It’s over guys. Stephen Curry has a 99% chance of winning MVP.

    Typical Harden Only Fans thread.

Only worried and concerned about what’s most important to them. Their lord and savior’s individual stats and him winning MVP.

As I remember, I argued that he had a case (which he did, among many others). Not that him winning would be predictable by the usual standards. There was no clear cut favorite by those standards that season.

I think Jokic should get some serious consideration this season.

and why is there a defensive player of the year award but not an offensive player of the year award?

This. It's all about winning. The personal awards just go on someone's mantle after getting voted by a bunch of fat narrative-drivers and it makes no difference to anyone else.
