This is true. MDA barely played him in the regular season. He had a down year, but there is no doubt that he's a good role player on a good team. I thought he played hard for us; i prefer to remember the year before last year when he was an extremely valuable player ...with one of the fastest first steps in basketball. He's not the best finisher and he's not the most consistent shooter, but he can shoot at a high percentage, he's a pretty good defender, and he can beat most plyers in the nba off the dribble. Glad to see him having success in NYC.

Just a heard forewarning, and an obvious one: In this ownership, a strong showing from Sterling means House is first or second in line to be sent out. The new guys are okay with Danuel because they don't realize what he cost the Rockets last year. But guys like Tuck, Ego and James (Jimmy Butler mode) don't respect this guy. I don't blame them personally.

The irony when James just pulled the same **** before training camp.

Good to know. I been waiting to ship his ass out and hoping some sucker gives us a high SRP for him plus cap space so we can sign Gerald back.

Let's pray he returns some sort of assets vs cost us one to unload. I wanted House to succeed so bad, but his heads got in the way.

The challenge with trading House is mainly a logistical one. We’re so close to the hard cap, it’s hard to find an equivalent value that’s making the same or less than him. If you could package House and 2 picks and get an upgrade at 4 that meshes with Wood, that would be great, but I struggle to figure out who fits that bill (both player wise and salary).

I see a possible move that doesn't upgrade the current roster but looks to acquire a pick. If there's a feeling we can fit Brown/Tate/McLemore into that spot without missing a beat, then House would just be offloading a salary without an expected backfill. That might be good for us if we're looking to make a move and sign a buyout player later on and have the cap room and roster room to do it.

There are several TPEs in the league higher than his salary

This is what I see happening. I rather have a high SRP rather than another filler player. House is not going to bring anyone that would give us a significant upgrade at the 4.

@NIKEstrad was describing the hard cap complexities of getting someone of value back. You are describing trading him for a TPE.

Didn't you say the preseason didn't mean anything anyway?

None of that even matters because:

Harden > House.... and that’s all that really needs to be said.

How can you suggest that Harden’s training camp stunt is the same as House making himself unavailable during the playoffs?
