Well we can accelerate the process if we can trade some guys for picks. I'm looking at Watt, Tunsil, Cunningham. Maybe some of the guys on rookie deals too.

We'll probably be picking in the top 10 in 2022-23 regardless and many of our big money guys become FAs in 2024, so might as well stock up on some picks.

Not easy of course. Not everyone is as dumb as o'brien and won't give up picks so easily

Well O’Brien era is done so that is the future we getting a new GM and coach we went 2-8 in close games so hopefully with some tweaks an easier schedule we will be able to turn that around gotta imagine coaching can get us 2 more wins

I think there’s a massive understatement on how important and impactful coaching and front office organization and competence is to NFL franchises. While the Texans need help in places, namely interior OL/DL, RB, secondary, and edge rushing, none of that matters if your coaching/FO is bad. We had the worst combo of that in recent memory in possibly all of sports, so being bad was a given. But the NFL is the easiest league to go from bad to good/good to bad, not saying the Texans will be world beaters next year but they have the most important position on the field covered and it’s not impossible that they’ll bounce back next year, especially in this division.
