was back reading and no one has mentioned this earlier in the game I wonder if John knows how to play with a big man? (a roller I meant) because most of the time when our bigs (Christian and boogie) were on the floor He almost waive off the PNR instantly and if ever he initiated the PNR is almost a TO's really weird sequence hopefully he incorporated this in his game .. just like harden did.

Thats because teams go hard under the screen and Wall doesnt have the confidence to pull up for a 3 so it's basically a dead play

And this right here is the reason Capela and Westbrook couldnt be on the floor together.

The team looked extremely well balanced these last 2 games. Lot less one dimensional, less iso and 3s.
Didn't know how they would play without Harden, but was pretty impressed. We could have 3 all stars on this team if Wood can keep this up.
Only played Sacramento but they are an improved team too. It's been a while since i've been this excited about the Rockets season. Please stay healthy...

Wall played with Gortat and got him easy buckets off the PnR all the time

I think its where they run the PNR from. The elbow would be better than the top because the weakside defense has to load up towards the ball to help. Good passing at that point gives the whole team options. Where as the top pnr will be trapped or they will stick to the roll man forcing John to shoot

Wall also did pull up for 3's on the elbow. He has the confidence to make them from there.

I get your point of view. I still think 2017/2018 Wall is a better one on one Defender than Paul at that same point in time.

You are reading too much into it lol. He was up out his seat a few times. Besides historically Harden has never been a cheer leader emotional type guy on the bench. He rarely cheers on the bench.

Wood played his best defensive game yet. He was active on the boards and seemed more enthused on defense. He was battling for couple possessions. He needs to bring this and more every game.
