Doesn't sound like anything. Harden has played through things his whole career, he likely thought he was good to go so he didn't complain, then he realized it was more of an issue than he thought. I mean, we all saw him twist his ankle stepping on John Wall's foot, so there's no need for conspiracy theory.
I almost shed a tear from the defense in the first half of the 4th. Brown/Tate/Nwaba are all no-ego guys who are tough as nails (and strong to boot). If they can hit shots (I'm confident Brown can), they'll all be useful on a team with a bunch of guys who can score in Harden/Wood/Wall/Gordon/Boogie (assuming he picks it up). Silas must've had a hell of a timeout after Wood got his 5th foul. I didn't think this team had that level of defense in them after the first few games - Wall looked good, but I cringed a bit at how hard he was pushing early on. I know he's been antsy to play again, but he has to pick his spots a bit more with his injury history/age. It was good to see him hyped in the 4th - I knew Brown would be a rotation piece for us. He's earned minutes on a well-coached/deep Milwaukee team for good reason. - Wood is amazing, and you can tell he's still growing as a player. Exciting to see. It'd be nice to have another rim-protector, because him getting in foul trouble might be a regular thing, with his thin frame and his tendency to go for blocks.
Im not a Washington wizards fan/team hater, I have no opinion on them as a franchise, but the responses over there are pretty hilarious. lol
I don't think anyone is disappointed with the win just not to overreact because better teams will punish braindead play as we've seen time after time again in the Playoffs.
good win, without james and terrible officiating for the most part. we've showed we can still win trap games.500 now and we still look like a credible 5-7th seed playoff team. you can still see that players are adjusting to each other. there were times wall held the ball for too long which stagnated the offense a little bit. love the juxtaposition of wood/cousins lineups. boogie's physicality was needed tonight. his offense and comfort-level will come.
There are a bunch of threads that opened up when they saw Wall's stat line, I guess you can choose Mods having to delete all the threads. lol
Wall looked the same as he ever has playing downhill and also trying like hell on defense. Loved seeing Gordon scoring and Wood apparently is a 20/10 on the regular. Got to get Cousins more involved. That defense in the second half was fantastic. The Kings only had 11 assists. If you added Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart to this team you wouldn’t beat the LA teams but you’d be in the 3-6 range in the West.
Thats THE GAME. Drive and collapse defense... take easy running shot... as a ball handler you should only shoot when they start to sag off
I doubt him wanting or not wanting to be traded has anything to do with him not playing tonight. He tried to play, he was injured so he didn't. Again, no reason for conspiracy theories. Also, given how Wall and Wood are looking, he'd be an idiot to still want out.
