Holy crap. Bitcoin rises above 30k finally and just smashes right through to well over 32k. We are definitely in crazy town again with this stuff. Doge is up 80% today. LOL.
Ive been aware of BTC since it was $60 a pop. Wish I would have bought then but $60 was more dear to me at that point. I have several BTC millionaire friends who are just hodling away. It’s sort of like sitting on the equity in your house- it’s not doing anything for you. I encouraged them to sell at 20k a couple years ago but they refused. Big gamble that paid off, I guess. I still think, long term, it’s a house of cards. FTC could outlaw it, quantum computing could (and eventually will) break the encryption.
The fact that very few are mentioning BTC in the media or in real life makes me think this thing can run to 40-50K in a span of a few weeks. I would imagine some folks are using their stimulus as a lottery ticket fueling the move.
Someone moved 1000 decade (or so) old coins worth 330 million on the 12 year anniversary -- apparently they had never been touched prior. I assume that means the keys just sat in a box after they were originally mined correct?
Lol. ETH momentarily lost its mind today. Wow. Well, they sat at the same address. Large chunks like this were moved last year, too.
I would be impressed for the people who bought and held since 2008 when you could buy a pizza for a few bit coins.
