What's your stance on James now?

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Plowman, Jan 2, 2021.

What's your stance on James now?

  1. Trade him ASAP for as much as possible

  2. Let it play out as far as the deadline

  3. Keep him - needs to retire a Rocket

  4. Keep him until at least the end of the year

  5. It depends on the Rockets record/ability to be a real threat

The fact that the Rockets have to dance around one person’s feelings is hilarious to me

You either buy in or you stay the hell out!

lol if you think Cousins and Wall are the answers, and relying on an unproven product in Woods to take you to the promised land.

Harden is in his prime. He doesnt have time to watch Tilman destroy and build the roster every year.

This is the same owner that destroyed the team that took the Warriors to 7 games. All because he was impatient, cheap, and did not want to pay the LT. He always took the cheap way out. Run it back my ass.

There is absolutely no way I would want to stay on the Rockets if I am Harden and I want to win a ring.

    None.

Have to get away from tilman.

stance hasn't changed. he wants out. eventually he'll be traded. until then just hoop and try to win games. that's all anyone can ask. not sure why anything should have changed as of today

A couple monster regular season stat lines and he’s back in CF’s good graces. How quickly you forget.....still think he will be gone by the deadline.

I had already read through this thread then reread it after your post and I struggle to see after reading the thread what would have you believe anything has changed in anyone’s minds based on these 3 games.

All the angry people still are angry and want him gone.

All the wait and see people still want to wait and see,

    Nothing changed.

I wish we could keep Harden and trade the owner.

Someone needs to nail another team where the situation is better after a trade. Outside of the Lakers I poke at issues on every other team.

Harden did that... but of course Harden would never accept responsibility for his actions and fans are only too happy to find a scapegoat.... especially if they can find one they dislike for non-basketball reasons.

All the Rockets have done is consistently put Harden in a position to win year after year. His demands screwed that up last year, but they put in work to remake the roster and put Harden back in a position to win this year....yet there's people b****ing about the FO? From a basketball standpoint there's nothing to whine about yet certain fans do it anyway smh

    Eh.

Only 5 titles were won without paying the tax.

Two were when Curry was the 4th? Highest paid player on the team. A huge advantage

    Spurs Once

Miami when Wade was still on a rookie deal

    Lakers last year

We gave Harden a legitimate squad once and only once and even then we weren’t huge spenders.

The same unhappy Harden who's putting up astronomical numbers on ridiculous efficiency? The guy with an 87% TS in the clutch this year?
