Whole “garbage” classification is incorrect. No NBA stars are “garbage”. They wouldn’t be in the NBA if they were. And these guys would all whoop your ass in a YMCA pickup game. EG can score on anyone including tough defenders like lebron as seen in last years playoffs. He is a tough defender that understands his assignments as well. To simply dismiss him as “trash” is simply incorrect and disrespectful. You are reducing him to less than what he is—a person, a good role player, and a professional. Please stop using such foolish terms.

I think if you do it too often, they tune you out, even if the complaint is legitimate. And he practically does it on every drive. So as a fan of the Rockets, I'd rather see him get a few legitimate calls than none (because he always complains).

Meanwhile he’s in the NBA and you’re not. Btw Russ averages a triple double. And no it’s not just athleticism. You don’t average a triple double much less be in the NBA with low IQ. What is this arbitrary BBIQ you speak of anyway?

ROCO can’t score. It’s give and take. In a perfect world I’d have both.

Yes I agree. That word is dumb to describe a professional NBA player. These guys would beat everyone’s ass on this forum in pickup ball. These guys are all pros. Do people that use this term loosely understand or ever think of how hard it is to get to the pro level and sustain it for years? And now you talk about EG a guy who can drive the ball on anyone in this league and plays great D. Please educate yourselves and come correct before speaking.

Gordon > Herro and Ben Simmons in average points.

Gordon has left leg minor injuries. I suggest he takes rest for playing with Lakers. His 3 points drops and suggest him to shoot more 2 points like Westbrooks.

He is short vs tall small forward, I suggest Houston to bring back Ariza if he buys out.

Idgaf if Russ averages a triple double. If u don’t know what BBIQ is, then I can’t help u, nor do I want to spend time any time trying.

Facts. EG starts on any other NBA team and easily averages 20 if he’s the number 1 or two option. Yes he struggles at times, but y’all need to put some respect on this man’s name.

EG is a real talent, a modern day Mitch Richmond (some of you young-ins may have to google him) in my opinion. We’re lucky to have him come off the bench.

the ones bashing him think its easy to find players like him. the grass is always greener. Wall is perfect for EG. he will benefit the most.

I agree with you, it's not easy to find good players, and I think E.Gordon is a good asset to have on our team. When he's on, he's a beauty to watch and I pee a little, when he's not I feel irritable and nauseous. I guess that's part of being a fan experiencing highs and lows from your team. My only complaint is his constant whining after calls he feels like he should've gotten and didn't! I think it hurts him and therefore hurts the team! We can agree to disagree on this if you like...

Is the grass greener on the other side?
I'm always amused when people use this analogy. It's most often used to instill fear of being put in a worse situation than they're already are and therefore more prudent to not alter the course. Sometimes it's true, but sometimes it's not! The truth is you really don't know until you make the change and find out first hand. It's funny/ironic that you mentioned Wall in your post. Most of us here tend to think that the grass IS greener after moving Westbrook for Wall. o_O

(P.S.) Not saying we should or shouldn't move Gordon.

Gordon has been our 6th man for years now and that’s just how I like it. He’s a great 6th man for a contending team..can play starting minutes in a pinch or provide scoring/defense for your second unit. I’ve never been worried about our guard depth with him around. He’s our version of CJ McCollum except we don’t even have to rely on him as much.

True. It's like it's an impulse or a tic he's developed. It reminds me of those little rubber troll dolls that shot their arms and legs out when you squeezed them.

Tyler Herro will never be as good, year over year, on an age by age comparison, as Eric Gordon. Gordon was drafted 7th after leading the Big Ten in scoring as a freshman at Indiana and competing for player of the year honors. Herro was drafted 13th after being the second best player behind PJ Washington on a weaker than usual Kentucky team his freshman year.

    Gordon's age 20 rookie season: 16.1ppg / 2.6 rpg / 2.8 apg splits with a 38.9 3pt% and 59.3 TS% and 14.9 PER, 4.6 win shares
    Herro's age 20 rookie season: 13.5 / 4.1 / 2.2, 38.9% / 55.0 TS% and 12.5 PER, 1.6 win shares

Miami is trying to slap lipstick on their pig, and the media is complicit. Don't buy for a second that we'll ever consider them as a viable partner. Last year was fool's gold: every single player they had outside of Butler overperformed in the regular season, and every single player including Butler overperformed in the playoffs. They are due for a harsh regression to the mean this year.
