No, but I'm really liking this team. The only thing I hate is that for every Houston sports team it seems the little tag line *if healthy has to be included.

 

Kings looks surprisingly well rounded and organized this year. Interested to see what adjustments Silas will make in the rematch.

 

Cut the turnovers in half and this is a blow out

Westbrook doesn't need to be shooting the 3 though. Guys like Westbrook haven't humbled themselves enough to even truly work on those type of weaknesses in their game. Westbrook is hardheaded. Wall injury along with working with Arenas has humbled him on a level to where Wall has given into truly accepting he has weaknesses and realizing he has to work at them hard to improve them for the higher purpose of team winning and not being a liability anywhere offensively. Westbrook just wants triple doubles and to play his own way.

 

yeah I am hopeful but his misses from 3 are mostly terrible... like its not even close to going in

 

Yeah I saw that too. I really hope it's more due to quarantine. I understand he's not a really good three point shooter. I really want to see him become a guy teams don't just leave open though. Just shoot at a average rate at least. He's worked hard to at least be that.

MDA stressed taking 3's/layups, getting to FT, disruptive defense and making fewer than 10 turnovers.

Not having 10 or fewer turnovers should still be a critical goal for Rockets.

Same with disruptive defense (win deflections, steals and blocks battle).

i find it curious nobody even asked coach about this and rockets twitter guys who often discuss all kinds of meaningless trivia dont mention a word on it

I love the new court and jerseys. I plan on being a Rockets fan for at least 80 years, already 15 years in so, I t’s pretty exciting when the Rockets change jersey colors.

 

I don’t agree. Wall isn’t Chris Paul good on defense but he can cover small quicker guards that give Harden a hard time and Wall has a high IQ. By the middle of the season Wall will be a defensive positive on the floor... also the carcass of a dead mule would be better defensively than Westbrook out there defensively.

The Rockets need a bigger 4 and a longer 3 that can switch would go a long way
