I hope its not Simmons unless we have a flip in lace to get someone that actually fits.

While clearly talented, Simmons in our basketball scheme is like a golfer with no putting skills.

He just made a 3. This is so dumb everybody treating Simmons like he plateaued or something dude is only 24 and has his entire life ahead of him. He's gonna keep taking at least 1 three a game and once he is more comfortable then he'll slowly increase that amount. There goes all the narrative he can't shoot. If Fultz can destroy his shot and then relearn it in a couple of years there's no reason Simmons can't do the same.

If Ainge won't part with Brown, Smart and picks Simmons+picks is a great 2nd option. Unfortunately with how hot Philly has been its highly likely the Harden package is off the table. Like I said this trade should have happened before the season started. With both Green and Simmons starting to ball outta their minds its hard to justify trading the farm for Harden anymore.

Everybody here says Simmons is a massive liability well if that's the case how come Sixers are 4-1? Simmons just had +25 lol liability my ass. All Morey did was 2 shooters that aren't even that good suddenly the roster fits.

Hard to justify trading for a guy averaging 37 points 11 assists and 5 boards shooting at 50 percent and 47 % from the three point line? The more Harden plays the higher his value will get.

Right now harden is playing like the best player in the NBA. If you think Simmons and a couple of scrub rookies like Maxey and Thybulle are to much then whatever.
The fact is no team with Simmons as it’s number 1 player on the perimeter will ever win a title and Morey knows that with all his limitations. Harden however gives you a legit chance.

Agreed. The 6ers actually have the right team around him right now. Curry is a pure shooter playing PG.

I’m not saying that’s a reason for Morey not to do the trade but my point is that’s why it isn’t good for the Rockets. You need Simmons paired with Curry, Duncan Robinson, etc. Maybe if we get Simmons and Curry that trade makes more sense for us.

Its a lot easier to get Duncan Robinsons then it is to get Simmons aka discount Giannis. Hell we already have a Duncan Robinson their names are Bmac and PJ Tucker.

Harden is 31 and no matter how much chance he gives you its not gonna make that a favorite over the Lakers. Everybody knows Harden is a top 5 player in the league what do you mean the more he plays the higher his value gets? Its already at the top it wont increase anymore rather the more he plays the greater chance for injury whichll tank his stock. Adding Harden gives Sixers a "legit chance" but whats the chance? 30%? 40%? Lol

Simmons is learning how to shoot if he starts shootings 3s what then? I'd rather bet on 24 yr old learning how to shoot within next 6 yrs than 31 yr old pushing you past a title vs the GOAT Contender and a 26 yr old MVP frontrunner. Each game that passes with Philly winning games make it less likely for Morey to sell the farm for Harden. Its not like Embiid would be happy playing Dwight role either, he aint moving off the ball waiting for passes from Harden.

Dwight role? look at how many post ups wood is getting here with Harden being ok to play off of him. He would do the same with Embiid. What are you talking about. Harden is playing off the ball a lot this season.

Also stop underrating how good Harden is. Harden in Philly with Embiid and the shooters surrounding them is as good as anyone . Harden in Miami with Bam, Jimmy and Goran is nba finals bound.

This. Finding shooters and scorers is a lot easier than finding a 6’10” primary ball handler that plays elite switchable defense.

jaylen brown just had stiffy plumlee alone on an island at the arc with a minute left down 1... and threw up an airball. #notmysuperstar

Simmons also can’t shoot free throws. Much is made of his 3 point shooting but free throws are arguably more important for a primary ball handler late in games.

I mean weird flex seeing he’s been the Celtics best player all year , top 6 in scoring, playing great defense and been better than Tatum. He’s basically playing himself out of any harden trade talk.

    watch full games.

Trade is never gonna happen. That ship has sailed. No way we're not asking for a king's ransom. James is an alltime great, shame on these cheapa$$ teams.

lol watch full rockets games if you want to see a real superstar, because you won’t be watching that player on the celtics anytime soon. brown will never be the #1 guy on a playoff team and it’s a joke to mention him in trade proposals for harden

Speak for yourself. Passing on a 23 year old Jaylen Brown and then losing Harden for nothing could set our team back a decade.
