Don’t exaggerate, a play like this has happened before. Maybe next game it will be first in a new decade.

 

Team needs to polish but im getting first half of the first season with CP feelings. Fast team ball, James not being exhausted going to his iso when team needs it, cool pick and roll game with Wood. They dont understand defense yet but offense look lit

 

Just look at Harden face lol he is so shocked that John actually saw him, pass went through and he had ball with no marking

 

Wall is already making things easier for Harden. Defense needs work. The Kings shouldn't have gone two open looks to even the score at the end.
Our best defenders plus Harden need to be in the last 5 minutes.

 

Employ JVG as assistant coach like MDA for defence

 

IT isnt scheming... they **** up almost every slip from pnr. They will get adjusted

 

Glad we got a win, but my main takeaway from this game is we will be really bad when we trade Harden. When things started to slow down for other players, Harden was the only one who could get a good shot.

 

Walton definitely had his team picking apart things he saw w our D, which makes me pretty concerned for next game when he has even more time to scheme against us. Will be a good test for silas.

 

really? how often it happened, once every 3 years?

i never saw cp3 nor westbrook feed harden the ball this way setting him up with an easy layup...NEVER... then again perhaps it happened but the very fact that its hard for me to even remember it speak volumes...

 

Thats because Harden was pouting around half court when CP had the ball

 

Silas is the truth. But as I stated before, we should've hired NATE MCMILLAN as the defensive coordinator. Whoever is our defensive assistant (the one some of your praised) isn't doing a good job thus far

 

wall is definiately the quickest at attacking a seam in the half court with his handles. westbrook didn't have the handles.

 

Christian Wood is a beast that is all.

Oh and he has that “IT” as well

Big things coming for that kid.

 

Wall obviously had some good plays but a couple of boneheaded plays on offense and defense but that is to be expected. I know we have seen his explosiveness in preseason but it was good to see it in an actual game.

I hope he can play more to his strengths after getting the rust off. Was definitely rusty with some decision making as Harden didn’t even touch the ball for like 5 possessions earlier in the game which can’t happen.

Forced up a couple of 3’s that were unwarranted but hopefully he doesn’t settle for 3’s unless it is a good look. Also needs to layoff long 2’s unless he is in a rythym. He will definitely get better but will need him to play smarter going forward. I like some of his court vision and his ability to get us easy baskets so that was very promising. Seemed a little lackadaisical at times on defense but i think that is due to confusion.

Not sure playing him 37 minutes this early in the season is a good idea? Maybe 32-34 minutes. All in all, glad he got his 1st game under his belt and had some good moments. Hopefully the coaching staff can work with him and Harden to maximize Wall’s efficiency while James is on and off the court. I think if Harden is off the court, that Wood should be on the court with Wall. We struggled when both James and Wood were off court at same time.
