Don't Murray and Jokic run a really nasty pick and roll? I really dont understand why anyone would think that. It's not like Murray is like SUPER valuable without the ball in his hands. Those are all things I've seen Harden do.

Jokic and Harden are two of the best playmakers at their respective positions. Actually the very best. They would be phenomenal together. But blowhard was specifically mentioning Miami as awkward fit which is just incredibly dumb.

At some point we have to take a deal for James.

And out of the rumored deals my top favorites are

    1a MPJ
    1b herro/Duncan

I have soured on any Philly deal because Simmons can’t shoot.

And while I have been on the Simmons train it’s just become more evident that in today’s NBA you need to be able to shoot.

And Miami offers 2 great shooters and MPJ offers elite shooting as well.

Hey man at some point we have to trade James.

And out of the rumored deals I like the Miami package. Or MPJ

    It is what it is.

This may be very dumb and or naive on my part but this isn’t necessarily true. There’s time to let this roster play a bit.

Harden doesn’t want to be here and wants out.

You can’t have your superstar player with one foot in and one foot out.

Yes and no. Harden on the court is still playing at his best. It’s clear he wants out, but we could take the Toronto route with Kawhi and hope for a championship before he leaves.

If it’s clear this team isn’t a contender after a couple months, sure take the best deal at the deadline and start the rebuild this season. But if we are rolling, let’s see how the playoffs shake out with harden and trade him in the offseason.

The more he plays the more his value increases. Right now he might be the league MVP! . That’s how good he has been without even rounding into his Peake shape

The Rockets are that stalker boyfriend that won’t let his chick leave and date other teams. We are going to keep showing her a good time and maybe she will change her or his mind...

The Kings game was another example of why it is so hard for the Rockets to pull the trigger on dealing Harden.... the Rockets were losing late in the 4th when Harden missed a jumper and calmly looked to Silas and Lucas and maybe an exaggerated smirk.... after that point Harden scored 16 points in the last 4 minutes and assisted on the only other Rockets basket. Harden literally scored every time down the court, including a pair of 29 foot 3’s that were daggers.

This isn’t the first time Harden has done this, he actually goes off late in games fairly often...

Updated headline: Rockets want to trade Harden later rather than sooner.

Yup, I remember the Carl Landry, Brooks, Lowry days where we would fight hard the whole game just to lose it in the last few minutes. It was clear how much value a star player has in this game. Harden constantly wins us these kinds of games... I'm talking double digit games per season.
