Curry at his best was out every other day because of ankle issues that was well documented.

I guess he learned to be more durable.

Curry is dependent on shooters and secondary ball handlers, secondary spacers, off-ball movers to create space for him as he attempts to create space for the rest of these guys.

He can't ISO much or play tough Defense like the best 2 way stars.

The best he can do is mentoring kids like Wiseman and Mannion.

Hmm, when does the day end then? Because Curry has three [fairly cheap] championships , and outside of the inexplicable game 6 against SA, Harden has never "choked" in the playoffs despite playing with significantly inferior supporting casts than Curry.

You don't consider shooting ~30% from the 3pt line for a series to be "choking"?

Wow seriously? Harden chocked when he was in OKC and laid an egg. You must have super short term memory. Harden had one of the biggest choke jobs in NBA history where he just flat out quit.

Too many examples below. It goes on and on.

    Or this

Steph has never shot sub 30% in a series?

If he did, wouldn't even be an even bigger choke job since ya know he's shooting GOAT?

Another 30 point loss for the curry-led warriors tonight lol. And draymond played in this game. Curry also once again had the worst plus minus yet again in the warriors loss. So the warriors beat 2 previous winless teams. One of those two wins came on a desperation 3. And whenever they play even average teams they get a mudhole stomped in their behinds.

I said over under 10 games before curry fakes an injury. Got 50 bucks riding on it

End of the day Curry just lucky he got drafted by a great organization like GSW that surrounded him with talent. Harden just unlucky he got traded to Houston which didnt give him 2 all stars and KD on a platter.

If you exchanged Curry and Harden you think Curry would have even 1 MVP playing in Houston? Gimme a break.

Curry been shooting 30% for the season I guess that means he chokes and shrinks for 5 games now right?

I don't think you can really criticize Harden whilst he was at OKC. He was only 23 at the time. He was pretty much a 6th man there. Harden is a much better player now.

You're really going to nitpick his only bad game against the Lakers in the summer? He had 4 other good games..... and he still had 21 points, 10 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks in that bad game. That's considered a great game for other superstars in the NBA. And.... he got double-teamed the whole game.

Yeah, he shot the 3pt horribly against the Warriors in game 7, but he still dropped 32 points. He was was actually 10/16 if you don't include his 3pt shooting. The only thing Harden really did wrong that game was shooting badly from the 3pt line..... but the majority of the team did. Also, Harden was up against 4 all-stars that game. Not to mention, Harden got about 10 points taken away from him because the officials couldn't do their damn job properly.

I am sure Harden didn't feel unlucky years ago.

Houston allowed him to go to the strip clubs during training camps, allowed him to call the shots acquiring players and so on.

Basically have him run the show more or less.

Gave him a lot of money early on.

Warriors had a plan before taking on a kid from Davidson.

Franchise and players elevated each other, they scouted him and decided to play this kind of unselfish basketball.

The system doesn't work if you lose good shooters.

I think Draymond would beat up Harden if he were there, he nearly slapped KD.

He can't tolerate excessive 'individualism' on and off court.

What you call "choking" is really just easily explained by statistical variation, and also other factors that play into Harden's playoff performances that I mentioned in my earlier post. For the most part, the whole concept of "choking" is just a fabrication by sports fans who don't understand math or team sports. I remember when Dirk and Lebron were called chokers before they won titles...

... No? In isolation, no number means anything. You need context. Sports fans tend to be a bit short sighted with results.

No. Not the same type of player. Never was. He is a complimentary player.

The Steph fanboys are so ridiculous that in a thread dedicated to legitimacy of Steph's talents, they bring up hatred for Harden.

Steph is one of the greatest shooters ever, and one of the greatest motion offense players ever. He's also elite in handling the ball and passing.

Aside from that, he's not the best off-ball player on the team, he is useless on defense, and the team he plays for is built around moving screens, which is an NBA phenomenon started by GSW.

He's a great, elite player on the offensive end. But he has a ton of help. If you remove all the extra help he has, Steph is about 40% less than what the fanboys describe him to be.

He's a Rip Hamilton with better handles, and excellent 3 pt shooting ability. And nobody cares about Rip Hamilton today. Even if he shot/made more 3 pters, he wasn't going to be winning 2 MVPs.
