My only criticism goes to the fans at the game!!!!! I sat in Section 407, and 80% of the people on that section could care less about the game. They did not get up and they didnt even cheer when we were scoring baskets. It just upsets me that this kind of people go to the game. I yelled my ass of....beat the crap out of the "thunder sticks".....what is wrong with this idiots that cant cheer......if they dont care, then they should just not buy the tickets and let a real fan buy them instead. OHHH, and whats up with the lower level seats!!! There were plenty of emplty seats downstairs......and for the love of something, leave your house early and get to game on time!!!! I also saw people leaving the arena when it was 90-86 and we went to the time-out...how pathetic!! What, trying to beat traffic on a Friday night?? I will be there for game 4, hopefully we will get a better crowd, specially in my section. If you were at the game, please feel free to chime in on your opinions.

Well, being in any section that starts with 4, fans probably think they aren't going to be heard by the players, so why try and cheer loud. It's kind of hard to cheer someone on when they can't hear you. I'm not defending either side, just speculating on why the people around you weren't cheering.

Also, I don't like how a lot of people with more money in the lower bowl don't really care about the Rockets too much and are going now because it's the playoffs. It annoys me, but I also have the satisfaction of knowing that I've stuck with the Rockets through thick and thin and it will mean that much more to me everytime we win.

I totally agree!!! I sat in the same section for the Orlando game early in the season. I honestly felt like I was in the opposing teams area. Of course I yelled and cheered, and the couple sitting next to me kept looking at me as if I was crazy. I just don't get it, especially given the price of going to the Toyota center, you'd think folks would be into it.

Ya thats defintely it. I was in section 101 and I havent cheered that loud, or heard the crowd that loud, in a long time. In fact Ive never been to a game in my life and heard a crowd as loud and as involved as we were. It was so incredible. Those of you who weren't there missed out big time. Even the pep rally was awsoem got a little boring, but still to be so involved. My wife and I had the whole face paint thing going...and I went all out and became the only guy there with not only face paint, but I had the girl paint my arms too...all the way baby. I was also driving everyone around me nuts with my loud ass drum....best game of my life...one of the best nights of my life :D :D

RocketFan, were you the guy with the Cuttino jersey?

By the way, 301, the suite for the 20 people who got their hair dyed, was full of real fans. Was an awesome experience. You might have heard us outside when people were going in the arena chanting "HOUSTON!" "ROCKETS!", trying to pump everyone up.

I was in section 101 and I lost my voice from yelling throughout the game.

I'll be in section 115 tomorrow and lose my voice again.

Oh I dread meeting clients on Monday morning!

I was in one of the 400 sections and we were going nuts. Well, atleast my 4 buddies and the 2 guys next to me. We were up all the time, yelling our butts off.

Was it me or was it really hot up there? I know I was stuck in an arena with 18,000 fans, but it didn't seem that hot the last time I was there when I sat in the lower bowl.

You must have been in a bad section man...We were in 433 and everyone was going nuts. Screaming, giving high 5's when the Rox would score...it was a great environment.

Sectional problem...I have been a season ticket holder since 1994 and prior to that attended scores of rockets playoff games....this was definitely in the top 5...not number 1, but definitely top 5...

I am so sick of people whining about our fans....get the freak over it...yes, every town has fans that do not pay as close attention...but the big majority do...

get over it...trust me, Friday night was one of the loudest games I have attended

I was at the game on Friday, and let me tell you one thing. I went to every playoff game during the 94-99 Era. Those games were incredible. Fridays game was on par with the Game 6 against San Antonio which sent us to the Finals. The crowd was nuts. Just feeling the energy of the fans brought back so many memories, that I came home here and made a shrine to the 94-95 era in me and my wifes room ;) Anyways, once again that game was just absolutely amazing. Like I told my father, who was with me, the spirt is back again in CLUTCH CITY!!
