Bijan going off already. Just a shame Herman didn’t play him more earlier on, especially since Ingram and Roschon were extremely underwhelming.

Yet not even our leading carrier. This is the dumb crap that Herman just doesn’t learn from. Get a chance to pile things on and you get a whole series without Bijan touching or even being in the game.

Edit: Right on cue, CU pulls within 7 and a 3 and out without Bijan on the field.

Well, that was a good start to the half.

Casey Thompson is slinging the ball well. Way more accurate than Ehlinger.

The ball can touch the ground if it's controlled. There wasn't any evidence to show the ball moved.

It might be Casey Thompson. Serious. Heck of a QB-RB tandem going into next year.

Johnson's run right there is one of the greatest sports plays I've seen - power and agility.

Also, UT's last two tackles (fumble and kickoff) were bombs.

This game makes Herman look like a moron, he overplayed upperclassman when he had better younger players.

I never understood the love affair with Sam. He's poor man's tebow. Thompson showed more in half than Sam ever did throwing the ball.

lets wait to see what he can do over a season when teams can prepare. Heard also had a hell of a game.

To me he just never read defenses all that well, just a bull in a china shop competitor but never going to be a major winner. Hopefully Card or Thompson can be that accurate thrower to go along with a RUN ORIENTED team with Bijan.

86 carries for 703 yards - how can he only get 86 carries?????? 8 yards a carry and he can't get off the bench to a fumblitis Ingram and a converted QB....

    Best man plays HERMAN -

Thompson has thrown 29 total passes in college and has more TD passes (6) than Heard ever did (5 career). I've remember seeing Heard play in person and I never saw the arm talent this kid has. He was a great runner who could pass, albeit not that accurately. I think Thompson could be a legit passing threat.

He's still like 20, so of course it remains to be seen. But I really liked what we saw.

The fact that he always kept looking downfield is why I'm so optimistic. He looks like Kyler Murray but bigger.

Just crazy that Herman still doesn't get this. Even last night after going up 14-0 in the 1st quarter, Bijan had ONE touch the rest of the half. Instead you have Ehlinger throwing hail mary passes down the sideline, going 3 and out, etc...Don't understand it at all.

Herman has his guys and doesn't deviate. Once Sam became Herman's guy because he was Tebow light, no other quarterback had a chance. This is why I hope Ehlinger declares for the draft. It's time to let Thompson have a chance.
