Rep. Justin Amash and Sen. Mitt Romney. Amash who had been a Republican and member of the Freedom Caucus left the GOP and to vote for impeachment of Trump after reading the full Mueller Report. Romney was the first Senator to vote for removal of office for a President of his own party. As Republicans they truly put country above party and did their duty as members of Congress. They didn't rush into impeachment or removal but listened to the facts and then make the painful decision to the right thing no matter the political consequences. I don't compare them to the Matt Gaetz's or Tom Cottons who had already decided that supporting their party was more important than duty as members of Congress but to people like Will Hurd, Susan Collins and Lamar Alexander who admitted that what Trump did was wrong and had been proven but wouldn't do anything about it. Both these speeches should go down in history as profiles in courage.
