I can agree with that. It’s still early so a lot of this is just knee jerk based on today—I know they’re short handed and gassed. I’m just not seeing a scenario where Bruno can contribute as a key role player.

If we have the majority of the team back Im just thinking of guys in general that could jump in and help when short handed. But you’re right the defense needs to improve and those two probably won’t help. I just want somebody long and taller than 6’5 that we could put next to Wood or Cousins.

 

Agreed.

But the reality is Rockets are going to need to trade for that player.

Only guys off the street that may fit defensive criteria + length are 6'9 Jonah Bolden or 6'6 Justin Anderson.

But both guys are end of rotation players, Rockets need a STARTER.

 

Rockets let them get ahead because of a TON of sloppy live ball turnovers. These non harden and CWood guys who are playing now just kept giving Denver the ball. Gotta clean that up.

Silas will need to make changes somewhere.

 

Defense is the universally agreed reason for loss.

Obvious is obvious.

 

Tate should have ran into Joker too.

 

With a full squad we would be 2-0

 

This is why we need Boogie, to bash with the bigger centre's

 

Not blaming losses on missing starters, I can respect that.



But need more clarity on defensive fixes.

 

Everyone is saying the right things after this game. Hopefully, they all mean it and we see noticeable improvement. I especially appreciate Harden talking about the need to practice together and how guys who get minutes need to not take them for granted. That's leadership and team talk. Good sign if he means it.

 

Reality is just what it is. The actuality is even more clear. Once we are fully healthy that's when things will change.
