Knee jerk reaction after last night

PHI: Tucker (HOU) + Clemons (HOU) both into TPEs

    CLE: 2024 HOU SRP

HOU: Thybulle (PHI) + Wade (CLE) + PHI 2021 FRP (lotto protected)

Trade creates cap space to re-sign Gerald Green

Holding onto E. Gordon + House for the eventual trade to Orlando for A. Gordon (can then add Dedmon at Vet min as well)

    Wall - E. Gordon - Green
    Harden - BMac - Brown
    Thybulle - Nwaba - Tate
House - Wade - KMart Jr.
    Wood - Cousins - Cabocolo

unfortunately, we can’t sign Ariza this year, as he was technically on the team for about 15 minutes.

Magic are stacked at 4 spot and just extend Jonathan Isaac to huge money.

Isaac, AG, Chuma, Aminu, Gary Clark

And Magic are dying for more spacing (3ball) and scoring from guard spot.

Is he bringing defense to the table? I would rather wait to see him playing well on both ends on a consistent basis.

Waiving Clemons doesn't open any cap space. His contract became guaranteed the moment he got injured.

The only way to open cap space is via trade - send out more than you take in.

Unfortunately, it's not likely that anyone will agree to take him, even if TF pays his salary for another team along with a second round pick. Perhaps, Bruno might be tradable for a future 2nd rounder and some cap room.

I wouldn’t trade one of the only 3 players bigger than 6’6”

Another name to keep an eye on...Jerami Grant.

Might be overpaid, but fits our needs like a glove.

We also have a bit of unique leverage, since we control their pick for the next 7 years.

Gordon, House, Det 1st, Washington 1st

I’m starting to think the Rockets need another true Center to pair with Wood. His offensive game is great but it would be beneficial to have another big guarding the basket when Wood is beat on the perimeter. Not sure who I would target though. They would have to be cheap and have great weak side help timing. The hope is for Bruno to be this player but idk if he will develop into what is needed. Any ideas on cheap Centers we could go after? I think the best the Rockets could offer is House and a pick so we have to be creative here.

Since the Rockets used all the available "cash" to be used in trades , I'd think moving Clemons salary would have to be part of a bigger deal.

Who or what that might involve is anyone's guess.

Look any trade that envolves Harden needs to include Clemons.
What ever we get back better be a great piece for our future. Not just some kind of temp piece. This person needs to wanna be here for along time.

You can trade Clemons without trading Harden.

    Trading Harden is stupid.
