Poor guy, he’s been injured before as well. The Nets never had anything good for us in the first place.
This is not really good news for us imo. The Nets couldn't afford to trade for Harden anyway. Their role was to be so good as constructed, that they scare other ECF teams into "overpaying" for James.
None of the Eastern conference teams can possibly "overpay" for Harden. No one has the equivalent talent or potential to even make a fair trade. Harden automatically makes any Eastern team into a contender and while people want to throw names around, none even come close. Philly could literally rebuild around Harden and be way more dangerous than they will ever be even without Simmons and Embiid. Same with Boston. But none are willing to part with their "super stars". If Harden is traded it wont be because someone met the right price or overpaid. Its because the situation in Houston got so unbearable that the front office had no other choice but to move on. That's the only chance any team has to land James Harden, not their talent.
good thing the media is trying their hardest to tear the organization apart. everyone outside of houston is trying their best.
If anyone should recognize media bias and slander its Harden. The man has been made out to be public enemy number 1 for years. There hasn't been any love for Harden without a low blow. He may want out of Houston, but I sure hope he realizes what the media is doing and how they are trying to turn even Rockets fans against him.
NBA twitter after the Nets' first two games: "they don't even need Harden" NBA twitter after this news: "Damn they can't trade for Harden now" Uhhh...
Right and I didn’t like the package, but if we had traded for him he likely wouldn’t have torn his ACL..or maybe he would’ve but under different circumstances. Butterfly effect and all that
