with you just keep harden. in sure he’ll get suspended/miss 5-10 games this year from clubbing but he’ll be locked in come playoffs. him and Wood look good. Missing wall who will help just from being able to dribble and get to the hoop and pass. Cousins who after just praising Wood he’ll hands down be a better defender down low wood just not good on that end at all. EG will help he’s just a solid bench player. now Tate I like that kid were the hell did he come from. Keeper just a lot of energy and just an interesting skill set for his size and being a rookie. tucker was same he’s def slowing down imo tho but he’s still a solid role guy but I don’t know if he’s true starter anymore but it’s just one game. and then of course Harden is just great I don’t know what to say about him anymore truly a special all time great and I don’t want to lose him. I’d rather watch him play two more years here and let him walk that way then trade him. He’s been so much for this franchise. If the rockets had nothing going for them I’d trade him out of respect but this team is going to win a lot he’ll get engaged 20-25 games in.
Actually not true. He plays better in the playoffs and personally beat the Nuggets in Game 7 in Denver. It was one of the most clutch playoff performances of the last 3 seasons.
Also- CJ plays better when Dame sits out. Look up the numbers. Rockets would be lucky to get CJ/Collins/Trent with 3 picks. Rockets would remain a playoff team. Not sure that would happen with Simmons.
Look at CJ's playoff numbers: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/mccolcj01.html Rockets fans would love CJ. Trust me.
Loooool, its his career high while its another typical day for harden playing out of shape surrounded by g league players and recording 17 assists. I know the op is trolling but Jesus man...some posters here really needs to take break.
You'll be surprised. CJ is #2 in Portland so you don't get to see all he can do. Just like when Harden was #3 in OKC. When CJ is traded to a team where he can be #1, he will easily be a perennial All Star. Look at his number when Dame sits out. It's true!
He has been chasing down opponents for sure, also in the Rockets game, chased and fouled. There are only few chase down opportunities each game. He is not a known on ball defender or help defender in the half court. Portland's suspect overall Defense got them in trouble, their regular season record last year was borderline catastrophic. A miracle they managed to make 8th seed. He was playing with an injury. https://www.nbcsports.com/northwest...e-information-nature-cj-mccollums-back-injury
Lmao! Cut the crap. Rockets would be fighting for the 8th seed at best with CJ. CJ had the game of his life last night. U know what we call that type of performance for Harden? A regular Tuesday...
CJ is good but he isn't that good. He will have a few games like this a year but if Wall was on him it would have been a different story. Dame is the killer. When the Rox get their full squad back and implement basic defensive principles look out baby
