    First Christmas ever without any of my son's 5 kids. A bit depressing. We did get to see them a couple of weeks ago. Heading to church at 10:00 PM to try and feel some Christmas spirit. I'll have my strong eggnog afterwards. Tomorrow morning a "heinous" gift exchange with our neighbors. My heinous gift to give is an enactment of the Costanza pose on the bed.

    Drinking eggnog, eating delicious homemade Banketstaaf, listening to Christmas classics with Amy Soonyoung on piano and hanging out with our daughter before the fire. Good times, as good as we can have at the end of a terrible year. Merry Christmas, everyone.
