He could also salvage his legacy by getting a trade he wants and winning a title elsewhere lmao.

Good point. I respect Yao more than Harden. Yao tried so hard and just bled loyalty.

Not a fan of how he's handled his trade demand. I get wanting a change because the majority of the folks you liked playing/ working with are gone & you hate the owner. But the Rox are still paying you a King's ransom. Just be professional, you can still have your agent demand a trade but stop acting out publicly about it.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em?
I'm sure you'll be tagging right along behind him.

No. Harden's legacy will go down is he is such a good guy he is willing to do all this so people forget about what House did last season.

Would be the greatest red herring turn since Severus Snape. Harden probably trying to lose a game check so Rockets can sign Gerald Green too. What a great guy.

Severus was always a good dude, they just turned the angle on him in the beginning to make him look sinister.

    RIP Alan Rickman

Harden will be an all-time great no doubt, but these last few weeks have confirmed what I long suspected about Harden but was afraid to admit. He sucks as a leader and doesn't have that ultra-competitive mentality that the greats have. It never sat well with me that he was out partying so soon after tough losses in the playoffs. Always felt that the fans wanted to win more than he did.

Now after the Rockets have accommodated his every wish, he wants out to chase a ring with KD and Kyrie. That's very weak to me. Almost, on the same level as KD going to the Warriors after losing a series to them when he was up 3-1.

By wanting out, Harden is telling us what his legacy should be. Super talented but ultimately not disciplined enough to lead a team to a championship...the only way he's able to do it is to ride the coattails of others.

Yeah since Harden makes in one game about half of Gerald's contract but lets get real. Gerald will play for free.

Seems you have forgotten that “27 missed 3-pointers”

Go back and watch it again. They didn’t miss 27 straight 3-pointers.

You can say that about every star that's ever played with the Rockets but Dream34. The organization has to build a champion. It pre-dates Harden. It's been 25 years

Well in his defense, aren’t we all suckers for “thicc” booty?

That's the problem...he and his mother are his agent since his former agent Pelinka became the Laker's GM. An agent would have advise him on possible pitfalls about his professional actions, as well as things his does or says outside of the basketball arena. Harden is self-employed with a lawyer for contracts. He could use a good agent and publicist.

Even in three years, while Harden is still at or very close to his peak, if he can go back to to LA to win the Championship with Davis and the then aged LeBron or join Durant in the Big Apple for the Championship, his narrative will forever be as an arguably top 10 Ten of All Time Champion-- a hard working high character guy who understandably had a few bad weeks in Houston while trying to escape that flyover city with the Shut Up and Listen guy.

Delusional. Harden has always been Melo with more offense.
